Waking Night Rehabilitation Support Worker - Location: Barnsley. Salary: £13.45 per hour. Job Types: Part-time, Permanent.
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Waking Night Support Worker to provide high-quality care to individuals as they recover and relearn skills after an accident or injury. Responsibilities- Provide night-time support to individuals to develop a healthy sleep/wake cycle and offer reassurance overnight.
- Assist with all aspects of personal care and maintain a clean, safe environment.
- Complete routine paperwork to prepare the service for the next day.
- Work on a rota that includes weekend shifts; 30 hours per week from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
- Work independently and as part of a supportive team; participate in training and development opportunities.
- Ability to work night shifts from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m., with a proactive and caring approach.
- Excellent communication skills and a good sense of humour; able to work both independently and within a team.
