University Guidance Counsellor
Job description :
Provide high-quality, personalised university and careers guidance to students, ensuring they are well informed when making post-school choices.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of global university systems and application requirements, with particular attention to UK, US and IB pathways.
Lead and contribute to the school’s careers and university guidance programme from Years 7–13, including support for subject choices and programme planning.
Track, record and report on student university applications, offers and destinations, ensuring accurate information is shared with staff, students and families.
Build and sustain effective links with universities, professional bodies and external organisations, representing the school at relevant events and conferences.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
A track record of exceptional teaching experience
Capable of teaching across Secondary age group
Outstanding subject knowledge
Enthusiasm and motivation for exemplary teaching and learning
Having work experience of at least 5 years in accordance with the qualifications of the position to be applied
