Older Persons Mental Health Team in Portsmouth are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic practitioner to join our friendly team, who provide skilled assessments and treatment interventions to the older adult.
To be a successful applicant you will need to be a registered nurse, preferably RMN, with experience in the care of older adult with mental health problems. You must be enthusiastic inworking with older adults to provide compassionate care to patients and their families and have knowledge of dementia and functional illness with a good understanding of physical health and frailty.
You will be required to work within the wider MDT team, implementing and evaluating care, managing your caseload, supervising HCSWs, junior staff and students within the team.
You will play an important role in our team, as we aspire to provide excellent care to our patients and strive to improve and develop our service in line with national and local guidance.
Access to a car for this role and a full driving licence is essential.
