  • Provide high-quality, person-centred support in line with the individual's care plan.
  • Support a young person with Autism to participate in activities at home and within the community.
  • Encourage independence, communication, social interaction, and life skills development.
  • Assist with daily routines while promoting choice, dignity, and respect.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support.
  • Support attendance at recreational, educational, and social activities.
  • Monitor the young person's well-being and respond appropriately to changes in behaviour or presentation.
  • Follow Positive Behaviour Support strategies and agreed risk management plans.
  • Work collaboratively with family members, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders involved in the young person's care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of support provided.
  • Adhere to safeguarding, health and safety, and company policies at all times.
  • Support with community outings and activities while ensuring the young person's safety and well-being.
  • Encourage engagement in hobbies, interests, and meaningful activities.
  • Promote a calm, consistent, and structured environment that meets the needs of an individual with Autism.
