Mental Health Support Worker

Zentar Healthcare is recruiting experienced Mental Health Support Workers for flexible agency shifts across CORNWALL.

This is a great opportunity for experienced Support Workers looking for flexible work, weekly pay, and ongoing opportunities with an established healthcare staffing provider.

We are looking for candidates with experience supporting individuals in mental health, supported living, Crisis, community care, and similar care settings. Experience working with learning disabilities, complex needs, or challenging behaviour is also highly beneficial.

What you'll be doing:

• Providing high-quality, person-centred support
• Supporting individuals with mental health needs
• Assisting with daily living and general wellbeing
• Promoting dignity, independence, and safety at all times
• Working across a range of care settings
• Completing clear handovers and accurate records
• Following safeguarding and care procedures

What we're looking for:

• Minimum 6 months UK Support Worker / Care experience
• Previous mental health experience in a relevant care setting
• Right to work in the UK (We don't offer Sponsorship)
• Availability for last minute shift
• Drivers are preferred; however, non-drivers are welcome to apply.
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable, professional, and flexible approach
• A current DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one
