Full-time 37.5 hours per week Site based
£36,176 to £41,953 depending on experience
Mental Health Nurse or Learning Disability Nurse with 6-12 months post registration experience.
This role is not suitable for newly qualified nurses or preceptorship nurses.
You will be working on the low secure forensic ward working rotational Shifts over a two week period.
Day shift and night shift worked in blocks full time shifts:
8am- 8.15pm Days /8pm- 8.15am Nights
Week 1 Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday
Week 2 Wednesday and Thursday
Due to the location of the service, access to a vehicle or the ability to drive is recommended.
However, the site is also accessible via the below public transport links.
What you'll be doing
You will join the team on the Low Secure Forensic Ward. In this role, you will play a key part in patient recovery, supporting the assessment and delivery of tailored treatment plans while ensuring dignity, respect, and high standards of care.

What you'll bring to the role
Essential
- Hold current professional registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) along with Mental Health or Learning Disability.
- Knowledge of NMC guidelines, requests and professional practices.
- Evidence of post registration continuing professional development.
- Demonstrates a positive attitude and commitment to change, improvement and quality
