About the PostWe areseekingto appoint an enthusiastic, student-focused Lecturer in Psychology to contribute to the delivery and continued development of our undergraduate and postgraduate psychology programmes. We welcome applications from candidates who hold a PhD in Psychology or a closely related discipline and who are eligible for Graduate Membership of the British Psychological Society (BPS).This is a teaching focused post.
The successful candidate will contribute to high-quality teaching,assessmentand curriculum development across a range of psychology modules. They will also supervise undergraduate and postgraduate research projects anddissertations andcontribute to the support and supervision of doctoral researchers. We are particularly interested in applicants who are committed to inclusive, research-informed teaching and who can contribute to the continued growth and success of our Psychology provision.
About theTeamThe Psychology team sits within the Department of Counselling, Psychology and Social Work, part of the vibrant School of Health, Sciences and Society. TheSchoolbrings together a dynamic and interdisciplinary portfolio of programmes, including Nursing, Midwifery, Public Health, Allied Health Professions, Biomedical Sciences,Pharmacy,Wildlifeand Ecology,Nutrition, and Sport.

AboutYou- You hold a PhD or equivalent and have eligibility for graduate membership of, or Chartered Status with, the British Psychological Society.
- You haveexperience ofdeliveringhigh qualityteaching to students from diversebackgrounds.
- You have thepotential toengage in relevant research and/or scholarship and ensure teaching is research informed.
- You are an effectiveteam playerwith excellent communication skills, and able to plan and organise you work effectively, whilst being able to be flexible to meet the demands of the role
