Clinical Psychologist Neuropsychologist Integrated SESD

This role is for Clinical Psychologist / Neuropsychologist working across the Stroke Early Supported Discharge Service (SESD) and Chronic Pain Psychology Service within integrated physical healthcare pathways.

The postholder will support and enhance the work of multidisciplinary teams by providing specialist psychological and neuropsychological assessment, formulation and intervention to adults within stroke rehabilitation and persistent pain pathways.

The role will contribute to psychologically informed rehabilitation and long-term condition management through direct clinical work, multidisciplinary consultation, teaching, supervision, reflective practice, audit and service development.

The postholder will work autonomously within professional guidelines and within the framework of Trust policies and procedures.

0.6 WTE within the Stroke Early Supported Discharge Service (SESD)

0.4 WTE within the Chronic Pain Psychology Service

This structure is intended to support integrated psychologically informed care across physical health pathways and provide opportunities for cross-service collaboration, rehabilitation psychology development and continuity of care across long-term health conditions.
