PAM Group are rapidly expanding, we are looking for a BID Manager/Writer to join the Business Development Team to assist with growth within the Occupational Health, Physiotherapy and Day One business and generate new business for the group. This role is a critical element of business development, creating compelling bids to maximise quality and technical scores during the competitive tender or sales process. The right candidate will have a natural drive to succeed, a winning mentality and able to self-manage prioritising work load to meet the deadlines of tender submissions.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

Managing and writing new business tenders and proposals and liaising with clients throughout the tendering process. Engaging with internal departments and collating their input to create new material which is coherent, compelling and well-structured. Carrying out final document reviews. Ensuring the timely submission of tenders and other proposals. Managing the sales email inbox. Managing tender clarification questions and messages via tender portals. Maintaining an awareness of contracts due for tender and taking responsibility for acquiring pre-qualification questionnaires and tender documentation. Working alongside colleagues in the Business Development team to assist in the development and maintenance of a library of tender document templates which are to act as a reference point for all sales staff involved in the tendering process and to ensure a unified and consistent approach to proposals. Working alongside colleagues from OH and Wellbeing to support in the renewal of clients, as required. Support the sales process by dealing with inbound sales enquiries, over a specific value, generated via the company website and by telephone. Managing all sales activity using company CRM system

Skills, experience & qualifications

APMP desirable. Experience of working in B2B sales roles with a positive and can-do attitude. Experience of bid writing in the professional services sector. Experience of private sector tendering advantageous but not essential. Good communication skills with ability to engage at a senior level with corporate clients. Desire to establish one’s self in an established and successful company. Self-motivated with ability to work on one’s own initiative in a fast-paced environment. Experience within the occupational health & wellbeing sector would be advantageous but not essential. Good time management and organisational skills. Proven skills in producing and editing proposal content within a complex business environment. A natural drive to succeed and a winning mentality. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft word and other Microsoft applications
