KT Healthcare is a family-owned healthcare provider specialising in neurodevelopmental services, brain injury rehabilitation and therapeutic support. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Psychology Graduate to join our team as an Assistant Psychologist / Rehabilitation Assistant.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build their experience before progressing into further clinical training, while gaining valuable hands on experience supporting individuals with a range of needs.

The Role

The role will combine office based work in Chichester supporting the autism pathway with face to face brain injury rehabilitation support within clients' homes across Hampshire and West Sussex.

Working alongside our Brain Injury and Autism teams, you will support clients, helping them to develop and maintain their independence and achieve meaningful goals in their everyday lives.

Your responsibilities may include:
  • Providing 1:1 support to clients within their homes and local communities
  • Supporting clients to develop and maintain independence in everyday activities
  • Implementing rehabilitation programmes and strategies developed by the wider clinical team
  • Supporting clients to work towards individual goals and outcomes
  • Building positive, professional relationships with clients and their families
  • Keeping accurate records and providing feedback to the wider clinical team
  • Supporting the team with administrative, operational and research activities from our Chichester office
  • Working collaboratively with psychologists, therapists, case managers and other professionals involved in a client's care
About You

We are looking for a Psychology Graduate who is keen to gain substantial practical experience before applying for further clinical training.

You will need to be:
  • A Psychology graduate with a relevant degree accredited by the BPS
  • Able to demonstrate previous work or voluntary experience supporting people
  • An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal and people skills
  • Highly trustworthy, reliable and professional
  • Resourceful and confident working independently
  • Comfortable working 1:1 with clients in their own homes
  • Organised and able to maintain clear and accurate records
  • Compassionate, patient and genuinely motivated to improve people's quality of life
  • Able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Previous experience within brain injury, neurodevelopmental services, mental health, disability, rehabilitation or care would be desirable, but is not essential.
