  <p>For the provision and development of specialised art, drama, music therapy and psychological services for our patients on Ruby ward.   <p>We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Counsellor to join our multidisciplinary primary care team.
The successful candidate will provide short-term counselling interventions to patients aged 16 and over who are experiencing a range of emotional and psychological difficulties, with a strong emphasis on trauma-informed care.The post holder will work under the supervision of the Counselling Service Lead and the Primary Care Network Manager.   <p>For a counsellor working in a primary care setting, the role involves delivering structured, evidence-based psychological support to individuals experiencing a range of emotional and mental health difficulties.
Key responsibilities include direct client work, collaborative practice, service development, supervision, and upholding ethical standards.</p><p>The post holder is expected to manage tasks delegated by members of the management teamsuch as the Business Manager, Practice Manager, or GPs.   <p>Our Primary Care Network (PCN) is made up of three General Practices in Grimsby: Woodfield Medical Centre, Littlefield Surgery, and Pelham Medical Group. Together, we care for over 37,000 registered patients.</p><p>The PCN was established to provide more localised support, expand access to services, and enhance the overall patient experience by meeting a broader range of needs and supporting practice capacity. We have a multidisciplinary team of clinicians who work under the mentorship and supervision of our General Practitioners, delivering care both within the practices and out in the community. This team includes Health and Wellbeing Coaches, a Dietitian, a Social Prescriber, and a Paramedic. These roles work collaboratively with one another and closely with our in-house counselling team to provide holistic, person-centred care that addresses both physical and mental health needs.</p>

  <p>We are seeking to recruit 'Registered' qualified Counsellors to join our Urban team based in Dorset. The urban team covers Poole, Bournemouth &amp; Christchurch.</p> <p>We have permanent positions available in Poole (full time 5 days per week 37.5 hrs) and Bournemouth West( 3 days per week 22.5 hours). Interviews will be face to face at Gravel Hill, Canford Magna, Wimborne, Dorset.</p> <p>This is an excellent opportunity for someone with the appropriate skills, experience and qualifications to join a highly motivated, professional and committed team. All successful candidates for the permanent posts will be expected to train in one of the following NICE Approved Counselling modalities in line with service need, and following a successful 6 month probationary period; Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy (DIT) Person Centred Experiential Counselling for Depression (PCE CfD) or Couples Therapy for Depression (CTfD).</p> <p>The requirements for a Band 5 position will be a minimum of a recognised Diploma in Counselling, be 'Registered' with the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) and be working towards Accreditation.</p> <p>Band 6 requirements will be British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) Accreditation status.</p> <p>Band 7 requirements are 'Accreditation' with the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) and a qualification in one of the counselling NICE Approved modalities (CTfD, DIT, IPT, PCE-CfD).</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>You will be expected to provide Counselling via digital and telephone platforms plus face-to-face appointments including on occasion home visits and working with interpreters. We provide short term time limited treatment. You will be required to facilitate groups online or in person and have excellent administration, IT and communication skills. The successful candidate will work as part of a team, be expected to work flexibly including one evening per week (1200-2000 shift) to meet with service demand.</p> <p>Previous experience of working in an NHS mental health setting, NHS Talking Therapies previously IAPT (Improving Access to Psychological Therapy) service or similar organisation would be highly desirable.   <p>We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic practitioner to train in Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) with a view to applying for a Band 7 role upon completing their training and accreditation in DBT.</p><p>You would be joining a friendly and supportive team of clinicians across 2 DBT teams who pride ourselves on delivering high quality care and promoting recovery. We are committed to continuing professional development and self-care, and ensuring staff are able to achieve the right work-life balance. All psychological therapists within the service are embedded within clinical teams, contributing to MDT care planning and the delivery of trauma informed care, and offering psychological assessment and evidence-based therapies. Within the service, we offer a range of therapies, including: Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), family interventions, Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).</p><p>You would complete postgraduate training in DBT, alongside offering a clinical service to patients under supervision. You will specialise in offering therapy to service users experiencing emotional dysregulation, including those with a diagnosis of emotionally unstable personality disorder. You will deliver full-package DBT as part of a team, including group work and phone coaching.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>You will also help deliver DBT-informed interventions such as emotional coping skills groups and other tasks across psychological services in the division. You will attend DBT consult regularly, which will be a further source of learning and support. You will help deliver a Family Connections group for relatives and carers of those experiencing difficulties linked to emotion dysregulation. Alongside your direct clinical work, you will offer consultation, supervision and training to other team members.</p><p>We are seeking applicants with a core professional training in mental health (nursing, occupational therapy or social work or similar such as Clinical Associate Psychologists) and some experience of working with people with a diagnosis of emotionally unstable personality disorder. Applicants should have solid experience in mental health and strong interpersonal skills, together with the motivation and aptitude to complete a postgraduate qualification in psychological therapy.</p><p>Flexible working arrangements are possible, including some remote working according to clinical need.</p><p>Informal enquiries and visits welcome.</p><p><strong>On successful completion of High Intensity training course it is not Trust policy to automatically uplift this Band 6 post to Band 7 Therapy posts. <p>We are looking for an exceptional Art, Drama or Music Psychotherapist to join our new specialist acute inpatient service for people with learning disabilities and autistic people.</p>
<p>This role will provide a rare and exciting career opportunity to be instrumental in contributing to the design, implementation and ongoing evaluation of Arts Psychotherapy within a highly specialist inpatient setting. You will be expected to have excellent team working and groupwork skills, and an ability to deliver individual and group interventions within an inpatient environment.</p>
<p>In addition to shaping and delivering direct assessment, formulation and intervention, you will contribute to wider service development and pathways, including training, consultation, reflective practice and staff wellbeing.</p>
<p>You will be expected to contribute to service improvement, audit and research as appropriate, working with colleagues and linking with relevant partner organisations such as academic institutions, to help us realise our vision of being a centre of excellence.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The post holder will deliver high-quality, evidence-based assessment, formulation and intervention within the inpatient service. This will include the delivery of specialist individual, group and systemic intervention, as well as providing consultation, interventions and training for carers and staff.</p> <p>They will be expected to provide supervision to other members of the team as appropriate.</p> <p>They will also contribute to service design, audit and research.
