  <p>Havant and Petersfield Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service are excited to invite applications for a Band 7 Art Psychotherapist. This is a great opportunity to join our team in Children &amp; Families Service line to support in the delivery of high quality children's mental health services.</p><p>The successful candidate will have a keen interest in working collaboratively with children and families and with partner agencies to promote positive outcomes for children and families in Southampton. You will have a role in offering core interventions as well as specialist Art Psychotherapy interventions to children and adolescents and their families, as well as consultation to the team and professional networks.</p><p>This position calls for a professional with HCPC registration. In all cases, you must be able to demonstrate the clinical, consultation and skills needed to offer an outstanding service. First-class communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills are, of course, essential.</p>

  <p>To work as a member of the clinical team / service within Hampshire CAMHS, providing a high quality, specialist psychological therapy service to clients, their families, or carers.   <p>As a member of a specialist Psychological Therapies team, you will work closely with colleagues in our CMHT and in-patient teams as well as the newly develop Primary Care Community Mental Health Hubs. You will also liaise with and support psychological therapists working at earlier steps in the Buckinghamshire Psychological Therapies Pathway. You will work with the Clinical Lead, Locality Leads, Team Manager and your team to ensure that the Buckinghamshire Psychological Therapies Pathway achieves its key objectives of delivering integrated, safe, accessible, responsive, effective and caring services to people in Buckinghamshire.</p> <p>You will provide psychological assessments and interventions for adults with severe and/or complex mental health problems, their families and carers. You will provide supervision and management support to other psychological therapists and consultation and guidance to our colleagues in the CMHT. You will have excellent communication skills and will participate in multidisciplinary risk assessment, formulation and care planning. You should be able to demonstrate your experience, skills and qualifications in evidence-based approaches in specialist adult mental health settings, this may include for example CBT or third wave approaches / Schema Therapy / EMDR / DBT / MBT / CAT. <h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>We have an exciting opportunity for<strong>two</strong> full time, permanent, band 7 clinical or counselling psychologists to join Barts Heart and Thorax Centre Psychological Services based at St Bartholomew's Hospital.</p> <p>The successful applicant will join a friendly and supportive group of psychological professionals at St Bartholomew's Hospital including practitioner psychologists and an art therapist. You will be able to access funded CPD and receive specialist group supervision (e.g. ACT, CFT, Narrative therapy and EMDR) alongside individual supervision.</p> <p>We operate within a mixed model, i.e. embedded within medical teams with centralised referral allocation and discussion so that workload can be shared evenly between clinicians and allocated according to skill mix and case complexity. The band 7 postholder will pick up referrals from specialist teams across the Barts Heart Centre and will work closely with the clinical pathway leads as well as the consultant service lead, allowing for a good balance of autonomy and support in line with their stage in career development. These posts are varied and exciting roles with lots of opportunity for service development and research as well as providing specialist psychological input through direct work (with inpatients and outpatients) and indirect work through consultation to the wider multidisciplinary team.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>Barts Heart and Thorax Centre (BHTC) Psychological Services is for with adult patients and their families who live with an acute or chronic cardiac or respiratory condition and those who require a critical care admission (predominantly cardio-thoracic and cancer related). </p> <p>Specifically these patients are under the care of specialist multidisciplinary teams within the Barts Heart and Thorax Centre, including the Congenital Cardiology Service, the Heart Attack Centre (HAC); the Adult Critical Care Unit (ACCU); Heart Failure, Electrophysiology, and Inherited Cardiovascular Conditions. </p> <p>Although the post holder will not be directly working with the following teams these are also covered by the broader service: Difficult Asthma and Cystic Fibrosis.   <p>The Crisis Resolution Home
Treatment Team is a pivotal service whose main focus is to offer an alternative
to an inpatient admission and provide intensive treatment as required within
the community. The service will also ensure effective gatekeeping of all
service users referred to the service for admission to Hospital. The service
will operate on an outreach basis with the majority of assessments taking place
in non-Hospital
environments.</p><p>We are currently recuiting Community Support workers for the Torbay CRHTT.</p><p>

The post holder will be an active member of the
integrated multi-disciplinary team (MDT),
providing a 24-hour community-based Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment
Service as an alternative to hospital admission.</p><p>As part of a MDT, the Community Support Worker is a pivotal role in shaping, implementing and facilitating interventions for individuals with a diverse mental health needs within the community.</p><p>Under the direction and leadership of a qualified Mental Health Professional, the team are responsible for:</p><ul><li>Deliver a collaborative care plan with specific home interventions and goals.</li><li>Offer crisis resolution as an alternative to hospital admission, available 24 hours per day, 7 days a week, 365 days per year.</li><li>Serve as the gatekeeper for inpatient hospital beds.</li><li>Conduct initial in-person follow-up after hospital discharge.</li></ul>  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
