A full suite of technology including equipment such as the Luna EMG Premium and the ExoMotus M4 are enabling therapists to provide intensive goal orientated rehabilitation.</p><p>Our services also include a high dependency unit with tracheostomy clients. They require input for rehabilitation, chest management and maintenance.</p>

  <p>Successful candidates will be working in a dynamic multidisciplinary team that provides a full spectrum of therapeutic input allowing clients to engage in rehabilitation as an inpatient, and outpatient and then carrying their achievements into their lives.</p><p>Our clients have experienced catastrophic life changing injuries and require a holistic approach in order to achieve their maximum potential.</p><p>As a member of this team, you will be supported with your training and CPD needs and desires. hours working between 18:30-23:30 over 7 day rota based at Kidderminster</p><p>This is a
role as a Community Nursing associate as part of the evening and night team
working 18:30-23:30 over 4 evenings a week</p><p>The team
is a countywide team which is centrally based in Droitwich with satellite bases
in Worcester, Evesham, Bromsgrove and Kidderminster, they visit patients in
their own home and support them in remaining at home and preventing admission
to hospital and supporting early discharge from hospital. This post will be
primarily based in the North of the county from either Bromsgrove or

is all worked as unsocial hours hence picking up pay enhancements for all hours

  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>As a nursing associate
working with the Evening and night Team most of the work allocated to you will
of an unplanned nature. The service works as an on-call service covering the
County of Worcestershire taking direct referrals from patients, 111, Ambulance
Service and discharging hospitals. You can expect to have a comprehensive
induction and work along side peers until you are confident to then work alone.</p><p>The evening service nurses primarily work alone, they
have work allocated via a handheld tablet by the triage nurse based at
Droitwich. You will be able to start your visits from home if the geographics
dictates.</p><p>The
patients that are seen during the evening and night vary immensely and no 2
shifts are the same. For example, we see catheters, palliative care, wound
care, administration of medication, diabetics, and patients requiring intensive
support rehabilitation following discharge from hospital or admission
prevention. </p><p>





As part of a new initiative, we are working
closely with West Midlands ambulance service and 111 and assist in responding
to urgent Care response. These can be patients that have fallen, or patients
requiring further assessment to aid prevention in admission to hospital.</p>
