  <p><strong>Clinical Psychologist for Liverpool Fresh CAMHS.</strong></p>
<p>This is an exciting opportunity for a mental health practitioner or practitioner psychologist specialising in supporting children and young people to join the Liverpool Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service at Alder Hey Children's NHS Foundation Trust.</p>
<p>They will be a member of the specialist, multi-disciplinary service and will have case management responsibility for their case load, however, they will be supported through supervision by a senior member of the team on a regular basis.</p>

<p>The post holder will have clinical responsibility for complex therapeutic and risk management work with children and young people who have been assessed to require specialist CAMHS Intervention.</p>
<p>The services comprise of five multi-disciplinary teams including staff from varied backgrounds, including psychology, psychiatry, social work, nursing and psychotherapy. In addition, our team members are trained in a wealth of different therapeutic interventions and approaches, making the teams truly multi-disciplinary.</p>

  <p>A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Health Play Specialist to work within the Therapeutic and Specialised Play Service at Paeds ED at North Manchester general hospital.</p>
<p>This post is a permanant contract.</p>
<p>You will be employed as part of the Therapeutic and Specialised Play Service and working hours may change to reflect the department or ward you are linked to, for example earliest shifts 10.00am - 18.00pm, latest shift 13.00 pm - 21.00pm</p>
<p>The applicant must hold the Foundation Degree in Healthcare Play Specialism or the previous Level 4 qualification. Alongside this they will be required to hold an up to date registration with the Health Play Specialist Education Trust. Alternatively students who are due to qualify in 2025 may apply.</p>
<p>The post holder will play a valuable role in the care of patients within the hospital, improving the patient journey and experience. They should be proactive, flexible and motivated, being able to work both individually and as part of a team.</p>

  <p>The Therapeutic and Specialised Play Service is a well established team, working throughout the trust.</p>

<p>Working within our team allows for a valuable support network, scope to work in various hospitals and services throughout the trust and opportunities for sharing best practice.</p>
<p>Techniques such as procedural preparation, distraction/diversional therapy and developmental play will be an integral part of the role. The Health Play Specialist will work with patients within the ward or department area, as well as taking patient referrals from a variety of professionals.</p>
<p>They will be working within a multi-disciplinary team including the medical and clinical staff, Allied Health Professionals, the Youth Service, Specialist Nurses and the Focus Support Team.</p>
<p>The post holder will be expected to complete thorough electronic documentation in patient notes, and attend any relevant meetings. </p>
<p>The Health Play Specialist will be part of organising and taking part in patient experience agendas including events and Public Health initiatives.</p>

Paediatric ED Play Specialist

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>SHOT is the UKs professional haemovigilance organisation which collects adverse incident reports relating to transfusion from England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. SHOT works closely with the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), the Competent Authority (CA) for implementation of the UK Blood Safety and Quality Regulations 2005.
The SHOT Clinical Incidents Specialist will work under the direction of the SHOT Operations Manager on the detailed analysis, interpretation and reporting of clinical based SHOT data. The primary role of the Clinical Incidents Specialist will be to produce reports, presentations, manuscripts, surveys and studies on behalf of SHOT for the annual report, peer reviewed journals, symposia and for other publications and presentations as required. Relevant clinical experience in an acute hospital, community or public health setting will be required for this post. To achieve this, you will have considerable recent clinical experience in an acute hospital setting of blood transfusion practice, with a good current knowledge of scientific and clinical practice, investigation of adverse incidents and implementation of improvement actions.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>Serious Hazards of Transfusion (SHOT) is the UKs professionally-led haemovigilance scheme.You will be responsible for:
Detailed analysis, interpretation and reporting of clinical based SHOT data. 
Produce reports, presentations, manuscripts, surveys and studies on behalf of SHOT for the Annual SHOT Report, peer reviewed journals, symposia and for other publications and presentations as required.
Represent SHOT at relevant meetings and make presentations of clinical data and studies. 
Take a leading role in the development and review of SHOT Transfusion Safety Standards, required actions and changes in clinical practice based on data findings, collaborating with external professional and regulatory bodies regarding this.
Take a leading role, on behalf of SHOT, in ongoing national initiatives, for example National Comparative Audit (when relevant), liaising with relevant clinical experts, answering queries from haemovigilance reporters. 
Teaching on the NMA (Non-Medical Authorisation) course and being part of the working group., Support the SHOT team at other courses and events such as the Human Factors and Ergonomics (HFE) in transfusion course, etc. 
Initiate the development of teaching material suitable for the various groups of healthcare professionals based around SHOT clinical data, and decide upon suitable methods of delivery.</p>

  <p>We Are Survivors are currently looking for an individual that has
the passion, drive and determination to help us deliver our OUT Spoken Talking
Therapy Services in our North West Prison Estate.</p><p>We
Are Survivors provide survivor-focused therapeutic and advocacy support to male
(including Trans and Non-binary) victims/survivors, and their loved ones, of
sexual harms. We have developed a three-tiered approach to services and
underpin everything we do with a trauma and recovery framework pioneered by
Dr Judith Herman.</p><p>We
are currently commissioned to deliver trauma-informed therapy services in 15
prisons across the Northwest of England and we require postings in our prisons
across Merseyside, Lancaster and Cheshire. Please note we have no vacancies in
our Greater Manchester prisons.</p>
