  <p></p><p>St Werburgh's practice is a specialist practice for the homeless in Chester.</p><p>As such many of our patients have complex physical and mental health issues, including substance misuse.</p><p>We are looking for a counsellor to compliment our small existing clinical team with in-house counselling.</p><p>This is a challenging but very rewarding work environment and you will be part of a very experienced team.</p><p>You will also work with outside agencies as we aim to support patients back into mainstream living.</p>

counselling to referred individuals with a history of homelessness.</p><p>To
 respond to the needs of the clients whether this be individual, group or
 drop-in services.</p><p>

You will work closely with our Community Development and Criminal Justice Services Practitioners to ensure survivors have access to proper support.   <p></p><p>We are delighted to offer an opportunity for a dynamic and compassionate Clinical Psychologist/Practitioner Psychologist to step into an Band 8b Clinical Lead role within our vibrant and friendly Salford Early Intervention in Psychosis service (EIP) and the Early Detection and Intervention Team (EDIT).</p> <p>The post holder will provide direct clinical work, while also supporting all aspects of psychological and psycho-social intervention work carried within the EI and EDIT teams, via the provision of supervision, consultation and training and co-working opportunities.</p> <p>The post holder will promote psychological perspectives by regular contribution to MDT discussions, supervision, and training. The Early Intervention Teams at GMMH are research active and the post holder will strengthen links between our Salford team and the GMMH psychosis research unit to offer service users the opportunity to become involved in a wide range of research projects.</p> <p>The post holder will join a supportive group of other 8b Clinical Psychologists who lead the other EI teams across the Trust. We work closely with our local acute Trust to support their high-risk diabetic out-patient clinics and there will be opportunities to shadow and develop your skills in this area. We also manufacture our own insoles using state of the art CAD-CAM technology and pressure mapping technology as well as developing new pathways and services to improve patient experience and outcomes.</p> <p>Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council as a podiatrist (or on qualification), you will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with GPs and other healthcare professionals. Good IT skills are essential as the role requires working across a range of clinical systems. </p> <p>We will provide a fully structured induction programme and weactively support CPD and personal development for all staff and we will provide opportunities to develop within the role.</p> <p>The Podiatry Service is delivered from a number of community clinics, GP practices as well as nursing homes and domiciliary settings across Wirral, therefore you must have access to your own transport for work purposes. </p> <p>Wirral has excellent transport links to North Wales, Liverpool, Manchester, as well as the historic city of Chester. </p>

<p>We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and experienced clinician to support the therapy delivery within the step 3 + team of Bolton's NHS talking therapy service.</p>
<p>The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and appreciative of the challenges of working in a NHS talking therapies services. You will be committed to team working, have excellent relationship building skills and be capable of managing varied work demands.</p>
<p>You would be joining a large team in Bolton which is part of the Greater Manchester mental health trust, where there are excellent opportunities.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p></p><p>As a Psychologist/ Psychological Therapist in our talking therapies service, you will be responsible for offering high quality assessment and brief interventions to treat those experiencing common mental health disorders.</p>
<p>This is an exciting, varied role with opportunity for, direct clinical work, consultation, supervision of other practitioners, facilitation of reflective practice and contributing to team innovation and development.</p>
<p>You will have plenty of scope and support to develop your own practice, whilst supporting the team in balancing the challenges of providing flexible high-quality services, in a way that delivers effective access and meets the expectations of patients, carers and the public.</p>
