You will develop and deliver training for staff on working in a DBT informed way.</p> <p>You will provide clinical assessment and formulation, and develop and deliver high-quality DBT interventions to service users with complex emotional and relational needs. </p> <p>You will be familiar with the collection and analysis of outcome measures.</p>

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>Trainee High Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapists are employed on one year fixed term training contract, involving a clinical placement where you will manage a high volume caseload alongside undertaking the Postgraduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (PGDip CBT) where you will be required to meet frequent academic deadlines.</p> <p>This is a 12-month training contract, upon successful completion of the course a permanent post will be available. Successful candidates should be available to begin the role in approximately mid-January 2026, exact date to be confirmed.</p> <p>The role requires hybrid working, including both working from home and from either our base in Shrewsbury (Severn Fields Health Village) or Telford (Hall Court), as well as travel within the Shropshire, Telford &amp; Wrekin locality per service need.</p> <p>Training posts available on condition of receiving confirmation of funding - please be aware therefore that number of spaces may change. At the point of academic screening and interview, we will have received funding confirmation and can confirm the number of available posts.</p> <p><strong>All shortlisted applicants must be available to attend a half-day academic screening in September - TBC by the university.   <p>The training post includes two days per week at University and three days of supervised clinical practice within the Shropshire, Telford &amp; Wrekin NHS Talking Therapies service. Trainees are expected to progress to working with a high degree of autonomy, with high volume caseloads including video and face-to-face clinical work. In addition to clinical contact, the role will include data collection, data management, analysis and note keeping.</p> <p>We are a busy caring team consisting of Admin staff, PWPs, CBT Practitioners &amp; Relational Therapists. We serve the people of Shropshire, Telford &amp; Wrekin which has exciting, diverse &amp; growing modern towns, surrounded by stunning Shropshire countryside.</p> <p>NHS Talking Therapies teams are great places to work. <p>We are recruiting for a full-time <strong>Occupational Therapy Assistant</strong> to join our team at Marlborough House in Milton Keynes</p>
<p>Marlborough House is a 28-bed, medium-secure forensic mental health inpatient unit that provides care for men in conditions of medium security. The unit consists of two wards: a 20-bed acute ward and an 8-bed rehabilitation ward. It is part of the Thames Valley Forensic Mental Health Service and is located on the Milton Keynes University Hospital Site.</p>
<p>Recovery is a key element of our approach to treatment at Marlborough house, assisting patients in their journey to change attitudes, values, feelings, goals, and skills. The Recovery Approach is about finding and maintaining hope, re-establishing a positive identity, building a meaningful life, and taking responsibility and control.</p>
<p>You'll work under the supervision of our OTs to carry out routine occupational therapy interventions and basic assessments with clients, provide administrative support to the team and facilitate therapeutic groups.</p>

  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <ul>
<li>Carry out routine occupational therapy intervention and basic assessments with clients as directed by OTs.</li>
<li>Evaluate OT interventions delegated by the OT</li>
<li>Provide administrative support to the occupational therapy team with the development of occupational therapy resources, and preparation of materials for intervention.</li>
<li>Support the occupational therapy team with the facilitation of therapeutic groups.</li>
<li>To be an active member of the Marlborough House team, recording and updating clinical records and sharing information with the multidisciplinary team.</li>
<li>Use practical and technical skills with patients to assist them in meeting individual need-based goals, as directed by the OT case managing the patient and their wider clinical team.</li>
<li>Plan and co-ordinate a program of therapeutic activities with the wider OT team and other members of the multi-disciplinary team.</li>
<li>Assist in identifying patient's strengths and needs in order to plan and implement suitable therapy interventions for groups and individual patients</li>

  <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen, for someone to join our team of cancer counsellors at ESNEFT. We are looking for a motivated and experienced counsellor with the skills to offer therapeutic support to cancer patients and their relatives.</p>
<p>As part of a cross site collaborative counselling service, you will work 34 hours per week across 4 or 5 days, based in the Cancer Wellbeing and Information Centre at Colchester and Ipswich Hospitals. Subject to room availability and needs of the service you will work at least 2 days at Colchester (Monday and Tuesday) and 1 day in Ipswich (Wednesday or Friday). Other time can be worked from home. Regular outreach clinics are held in Clacton and counsellors also provide telephone support from home.</p>
<p>You are required to have previous experience of working as a counsellor, ideally in a secondary care setting. You will be BACP accredited or working towards accreditation with substantial experience of counselling clients and time-limited work. You will support cancer patients and their loved ones who may present with a range of needs, such as trauma, grief and loss to effectively manage the challenges and ethical dilemmas presented in this area of work.</p>

  <p>An exciting and rare opportunity has arisen for a highly clinically skilled, experienced, motivated and compassionate Psychologist/ Psychotherapist to work in a split role between ADAPT-East in Bromley and the specialist Woman's Service which is also based in the same building in Orpington. </p> <p>ADAPT-E is one of the Bromley community mental health teams.</p> <p>WS is a specialist evening psychotherapy service for women, survivors of non recent child sexual abuse. The service operates on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and as it is primarily an evening service, the post holder will be expected to work evenings for the Woman's Service on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.</p> <p>The post holder will join an established and integrated psychological therapies team within ADAPT-E. In the WS the post holder will join a well established team of psychoanalytic, psychodynamic and art psychotherapists offering specialist psychotherapy for women survivors of child sexual abuse.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The post presents an exciting opportunity to develop highly specialist, supervisory and leadership skills within secondary care adult mental health.</p> <p>ADAPTE has been developing new ways of working with people presenting with interpersonal issues and complex trauma including a structured clinical management, compassion based and trauma stabilisation group programs. These run alongside established provisions including dual modality MBT, EMDR, CAT, 3rd wave CBT, psychodynamic, systemic and integrative approaches. Personal modality preferences will be encouraged and respected, specialisms in one or more of the above would be highly desirable.</p> <p>The post holder will be involved with assessment, formulation and interventions to the ADAPT population. Supervision of doctoral trainees or junior members of the therapy team will also be expected as appropriate. Leadership support will be encouraged with the Locality Lead in terms of service development and development of the MDT more widely.</p> <p>For WS, the post holder will be expected to provide highly specialised clinical interventions and supervision and contribute to the specialist expertise within a psychodynamic framework for survivors of child sexual abuse.
