<h2><strong>Fully remote, full-time internship for aspiring clinical psychologists, psychotherapists and counsellors.</strong></h2><p>Our Clinical Psychology Internship equips aspiring mental health professionals worldwide with essential skills and practical client-facing experience, preparing them for careers in clinical psychology, coaching, psychotherapy, or counselling.</p><p>Interns complete an intensive one-month crash course covering a toolkit of evidence-based techniques from Motivational Interviewing, Coaching, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). <h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>An exciting position has arisen for a psychologist or CBT therapist to join the Havering Early Intervention Psychosis Team for 6 months, fixed-term.</p>
<p>The post holder will join a well-established early intervention in psychosis service for people with a psychotic diagnosis and their families.</p>
<p>The post holder will join the EIP team, delivering CBT for psychosis with people aged between 14-65 who are experiencing a first episode of psychosis.</p>
<p>The post will suit enthusiastic psychologist or CBT therapist with an interest in developing their skills in applying evidence-based psychological therapies with this client group and working with multi-disciplinary teams.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The post holder will provide assessment and evidence-based interventions for this client group . The post holder will be expected to work closely with the multidisciplinary team and offer support on psychological approaches to working with psychosis.</p>
<p>The post holder will be expected to participate in supervision and CPD focused on evidence-based interventions in psychosis.</p>
<p>In addition, the post holder will receive individual supervision and group supervision in CBT for psychosis. The service has practitioners interested in Narrative Exposure Therapy, EMDR and Family Intervention for Psychosis amongst other approaches.</p>
<p>The Trust has strong links with the UCL, UEL and Royal Holloway clinical psychology courses, several Counselling Psychology courses and the UCL CBTp diploma. Current members of the department are engaged in teaching and research projects with local clinical training courses.</p>

As our Young Person s Psychotherapist, you ll play a vital part in making that happen. Working within our Opportunities Programme, you ll provide one-to-one psychotherapy and co-produced psychoeducation groups for young people aged .
