<h2><strong>Fully remote, full-time internship for aspiring clinical psychologists, psychotherapists and counsellors.</strong></h2><p>Our Clinical Psychology Internship equips aspiring mental health professionals worldwide with essential skills and practical client-facing experience, preparing them for careers in clinical psychology, coaching, psychotherapy, or counselling.</p><p>Interns complete an intensive one-month crash course covering a toolkit of evidence-based techniques from Motivational Interviewing, Coaching, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). They then provide free online, one-to-one coaching to global clients who otherwise lack access to mental health care, initially promoting behaviour change (e.g., diet, sleep, reducing procrastination) and later progressing to clients experiencing depression or anxiety.</p><h3><strong>About Overcome</strong></h3><p>Overcome is a UK-registered charity (Charity Number: 1191308) providing online mental health coaching worldwide, particularly to underserved communities in developing countries. <h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>An exciting position has arisen for a psychologist or CBT therapist to join the Havering Early Intervention Psychosis Team for 6 months, fixed-term.</p>
<p>The post holder will join a well-established early intervention in psychosis service for people with a psychotic diagnosis and their families.</p>
<p>The post holder will join the EIP team, delivering CBT for psychosis with people aged between 14-65 who are experiencing a first episode of psychosis.</p>
<p>The post will suit enthusiastic psychologist or CBT therapist with an interest in developing their skills in applying evidence-based psychological therapies with this client group and working with multi-disciplinary teams.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The post holder will provide assessment and evidence-based interventions for this client group . The post holder will be expected to work closely with the multidisciplinary team and offer support on psychological approaches to working with psychosis.</p>
<p>The post holder will be expected to participate in supervision and CPD focused on evidence-based interventions in psychosis.</p>
<p>In addition, the post holder will receive individual supervision and group supervision in CBT for psychosis. The service has practitioners interested in Narrative Exposure Therapy, EMDR and Family Intervention for Psychosis amongst other approaches.</p>
<p>The Trust has strong links with the UCL, UEL and Royal Holloway clinical psychology courses, several Counselling Psychology courses and the UCL CBTp diploma. Current members of the department are engaged in teaching and research projects with local clinical training courses.</p>

Clinical/ Counselling Psychologist

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>We are looking to recruit a <strong>Counselling or Clinical Psychologist</strong> to join our Adult CMHT based in Kings Lynn Covering West Norfolk with the possibility for a small amount of home working. The psychology and psychological therapies team in the CMHT has an exciting and vibrant skill mix including Clinical Psychology, CBT therapists, CAT therapists, Art therapists, DBT therapists, and CAPS.</p> <p>The post holder would join this team and be responsible for providing assessment, consultation formulation, individual and group therapy for service users accessing the CMHT. There would also be responsibilities in relation to providing supervision and service evaluation. There are opportunities for the post holder to support further therapy training to fit the needs of the service. In recent years this has included CBT, DBT, CAT, MDT and EMDR.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The successful applicant will hold their own caseload of clinical work. This will cover assessment, consultation formulation, individual and group therapy for service users accessing the CMHT. They will be supervised by the 8B Clinical Psychologist and will have their own supervisory responsibilities for others in the team.</p> <p>Psychology is well valued in the CMHT in West Norfolk and other duties will include working closely with the wider professions in the MDT. This successful applicant will have a job plan in line with BPS guidance which will incorporate time for CPD and learning as well as clinical duties.   <p>As a member of a specialist Psychological Therapies team, you will work closely with colleagues in our CMHT and in-patient teams as well as the newly develop Primary Care Community Mental Health Hubs. You will also liaise with and support psychological therapists working at earlier steps in the Buckinghamshire Psychological Therapies Pathway. You will work with the Clinical Lead, Locality Leads, Team Manager and your team to ensure that the Buckinghamshire Psychological Therapies Pathway achieves its key objectives of delivering integrated, safe, accessible, responsive, effective and caring services to people in Buckinghamshire.</p> <p>You will provide psychological assessments and interventions for adults with severe and/or complex mental health problems, their families and carers. You will provide supervision and management support to other psychological therapists and consultation and guidance to our colleagues in the CMHT. You will have excellent communication skills and will participate in multidisciplinary risk assessment, formulation and care planning. You should be able to demonstrate your experience, skills and qualifications in evidence-based approaches in specialist adult mental health settings, this may include for example CBT or third wave approaches / Schema Therapy / EMDR / DBT / MBT / CAT. Undertaking all aspects of Psychotherapy clinical duties, you will adhere to professional and regulatory guidelines, carrying out specialist individual assessments and interventions, and preparing relevant documentation, including writing reports. A significant element of this role will be working alongside the onsite clinical team to continue to develop the clinical service provision, including providing support and training to staff and parents. </p><p>Our well-established multidisciplinary Clinical Team maintain a nurturing environment where our pupils can flourish, always putting them at the forefront of everything they do.
