  <p><strong>BAND 6 SPECIALIST PSYCHOLOGICAL PRACTITIONER (12-month Fixed Term position) on Laurel Personality Focused Recovery Service, Tamarind Medium Secure Service</strong></p>
<p>We are recruiting for a fixed term position on Laurel: a 12 bedded ward for men with a diagnosis of Personality Disorder. The specialist service offers a range of psychological individual and group interventions to help the men to gain insight into their difficulties and their offending behaviour with the overall aims of alleviating distress for the individual, improving emotional regulation, improving pro-social interactions, and reducing levels of risk' both to self and others.</p>
<p>Laurel is one of seven wards at The Tamarind Centre, which is an 89-bedded medium-secure service. The psychology team work across all wards and consist of a range of experienced Practitioner Psychologists, Art Therapist, and Assistant Psychologists.</p>
<p>We welcome applications from people interested in working with complex presentations, balancing clinical need with risk management. A core part will be working alongside multi-disciplinary colleagues sharing psychological knowledge and consistently improving the psychological mindedness of the service. We are looking for people from a range of diverse backgrounds with an interest in working with and enhancing the lives of people who have experienced adverse life experiences and offending behaviour.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>Post holders, under the supervision of a qualified psychologist, will assist in delivering a range of individual and group interventions addressing emotional, behavioural, and relational factors to improve service users' recovery and wellbeing. The post holders will support the direct assessment, formulation, and delivery of interventions to address the full range of complex forensic mental health problems. They will also contribute to the production of risk assessments and be key in providing psychologically informed advice and support for those directly involved in the care of the individual. They would also support training, supervision, and evaluation of the delivery of individual behavioural management plans, risk management activity and service user involvement.</p>
<p>We are looking for an enthusiastic, robust, resilient, creative, and innovative Specialist Psychological Practitioner interested in working with people with complex presentations, encompassing risk, personality difficulties, and mental health. The service has identified resources for continuing professional development, and excellent multi-model supervision structures. Ideally post holders to have a background in some of the following: teaching, counselling, social work, family work, nursing, registered therapists (CBT, DBT or MBT).</p>

  <p>BAND 6 SPECIALIST PSYCHOLOGICAL PRACTITIONER - REASIDE CLINIC</p>
<p>Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust (BSMHFT) invite applications specifically for a 12-month fixed term role for REASIDE CLINIC, Rubery, Birmingham - a 92 bedded, medium secure inpatient service for adult males.</p>
<p>We are seeking enthusiastic, innovative and resilient professionals to join our expanding Secure Care and Offender Health Services (SCOH) across the Trust, for the role of Specialist Psychological Practitioner. This role is well suited to professionals working in the mental health or education sector, who have experience of delivering psychological interventions and are keen to develop their knowledge and skill in working psychologically with individuals with complex needs.</p>
<p>We welcome applications from motivated people interested in working directly with individuals with complex presentations, balancing clinical needs with risk management to support and enhance the lives of people who have encountered adverse life experiences, including trauma and neglect, and have a history of offending behaviour. A core part of this role will be to work alongside colleagues from a range of disciplines sharing psychological knowledge and consistently improving the psychological mindedness of the service.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>Post holders, under the supervision of a qualified psychologist, will assist in delivering a range of individual and group interventions addressing emotional, behavioural and relational factors in order to improve service users' recovery and wellbeing. The post holders will support the direct assessment, formulation and delivery of interventions to address a full range of complex forensic mental health problems. They will also contribute to the production of risk assessments and behavioural management plans and be key in providing psychologically informed advice and support for those directly involved in the care of the individual. They would also support training, supervision and evaluation of the delivery of individual behavioural management plans, risk management activity and service user involvement. The post holders should have some experience in providing some supervision to a staff group and be able to identify and co-ordinate the need for systemic support. Ideally, post holders may also have a background in some of the following: teaching, counselling, social work, family work or nursing.</p>

  <p>Band 6 Specialist Psychological Practitioner (2-year fixed term position)</p>
<p>An exciting job opportunity has arisen to recruit a Specialist Psychological Practitioner to support the delivery of a 2-year pilot, community step-down accommodation for women being discharged from secure care. This pilot aims to extend the inpatient treatment model into a community residential setting to promote recovery beyond discharge. The role will provide opportunities for both inpatient and community work, and to be involved in service innovation.</p>
<p>Clinically the role will involve working with women presenting with complex trauma, personality disorder and mental illness, both directly through the provision of specialist psychological interventions and indirectly through supervision, reflective practice, consultation and training. The successful candidate will work alongside MDT colleagues sharing psychological knowledge and consistently improving the psychological mindedness of services along the pathway. There will be lots of opportunities for collaborative working with service users and staff, as well as involvement in service innovation and improvement. In relation to the pilot step-down accommodation, you would contribute significantly to the development of the psychological pathway and evaluation of this. Working across both the rehabilitation ward and the step-down accommodation, the post holder will have the opportunity to develop strong therapeutic relationships with services users.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The role will involve working within the WSBS at Ardenleigh and at our step-down accommodation at Balsall Heath and there will be an expectation to travel between sites. You will work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team under the supervision of a registered clinical/forensic psychologist. In your role you will provide psychological support for service users transitioning from inpatient care to community integration. The post holder will support the direct assessment, formulation, and delivery of a range of individual and group interventions addressing emotional, behavioural, and relational factors to improve service user' recovery and wellbeing. Central to the role is working with the wider MDT, to support psychological understanding of a person's difficulties, which will involve providing training and supervision, as well as conducting evaluations of interventions.</p>
<p>We are looking for people from a range of diverse backgrounds with an interest in working with, supporting, and enhancing the lives of people who have experienced adverse life experiences, including trauma and neglect, and have a history of offending behaviour. This post is best suited to a professional with a background in teaching, counselling, social work, family work or nursing, who has some prior training and experience of delivering psychological interventions. Prior experience of providing support or supervision to a staff group would also be desirable.</p>

  <p>This is an exciting arts therapies opportunity with Newham Arts Therapies, working with adult service users with complex mental health needs, in hospital and the community. The clinical provision is to cover for maternity leave, and may include individual and group work. You will be well supported with supervision from very experienced arts therapies clinicians.   <p>An opportunity has arisen to recruit a CAMHS Clinical Specialist to the Southwark CAMHS Early Help Team (Tier 2 generic) for a fixed term contract covering a maternity leave.</p>
<p>The post holder will carry out initial assessments and offer treatment according to their clinical and professional back ground and training. It is important that the successful candidate has substantial experience of working with children and young people with complex mental health difficulties in a CAMHS setting. Experience working therapeutically with children and young people with Neurodevelopmental conditions is essential.</p>
  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>Participate as a multi-disciplinary team member in the setting and reviewing of therapeutic aims, objectives, standards and strategies to provide a high standard of care to clients and their families.</p>
<p>Assume responsibility for own case list and case management of children, adolescents and families who are determined to be at mild to moderate risk.</p>
<p>Undertake all duties in line with the professional Codes of Professional Conduct, and maintain professional registration requirements for the post according to discipline/profession.</p>
<p>You will manage your own caseload and work within a team but will have freedom to act within the service framework and Trust operational policies.</p>
