  <p>We are expanding our team of
clinicians to deliver our clinically proven intervention at our James Place
centre in London. As a Suicide Prevention Therapist, you will be an experienced
mental health professional or therapist with demonstrable interest in suicide
prevention. You will support men who are experiencing a suicidal crisis and
their supporter(s), delivering our unique intervention and co-producing
effective safety plans to maintain their safety. Training and support will be provided
by the Head of Centre in London and the wider James Place team.</p><p><strong>To apply, please

  <p>Suicide is the leading cause of death of men under 35 and three quarters
of those who die by suicide are men. James Place exists to save the lives of
men in suicidal crisis through delivering clinical services. We are a charity currently
offering free, life-saving therapy to suicidal men at our centres in Liverpool,
London and Newcastle. </p><p>James Place was set up by Clare Milford Haven and Nick Wentworth-Stanley
in 2008 after their twenty-one-year-old son, James, died by suicide ten days
after a minor operation. James had no history of mental illness or depression
and had sought urgent help for anxiety and suicidal thoughts but didnt find
it. </p><p>James' Place was
set up to make the experience of finding help as easy as possible. We offer men
who are experiencing a suicidal crisis a brief, intensive, therapeutic
intervention in a safe environment. Men who walk through the door at James
Place will be in a space where they feel valued and respected. We provide
a calm and peaceful environment both inside the centres and in our outside
spaces, accessible to men who visit us as well as their friends and
families.We have so far treated over 4,300 men who might otherwise have
been unable to access the support they desperately need.</p><p>In early 2026 we
will be opening our fourth centre in Birmingham. Our new centre in Birmingham
will be there to support suicidal men living in the West Midlands.</p>

We support young people aged 16 to 24 in Camden who need support transitioning between children's and adult mental health services.   <p>The post holder will hold a complex caseload, undertaking a range of clinical assessments and offering highly skilled treatments or therapies that are outcome focused and evidence based, using appropriate therapeutic modalities.   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The Clinician/Supervisor will be responsible for the individual and group supervision of Band 4 / 5 trainee or qualified Education Mental Health Practitioners and Child Wellbeing Practitioners, Band 6, senior wellbeing practitioners, and some aspects of clinical service delivery, including direct psychological interventions with children, young people and their parents, and consultation to schools. Working under the direction of the Clinical Team Lead, and the Operational Manager, they will play an important role in the development of the MHSTs and integration within local education provision, facilitating wider service transformation within the local CYP systems and partnership. The post-holder's clinical work will include: liaison and consultation with schools, developing and co-producing psycho-education / psychological workshops, resources, and other aspects of service delivery and training in schools, and supporting the development and embedding of the MHSTs in schools. </p>

  <p>The pioneering and award-winning Family Safeguarding Service in Hertfordshire is seeking a part time (0.5) Band 8a Clinical/Counselling Psychologist/Psychological Therapist (fixed term contract of one year to cover maternity leave) who is motivated to help change the lives of some of the most vulnerable families in Hertfordshire.   <p>We are looking for a creative, forward thinking and motivated Systemic Family Therapist to join our friendly and professional multi-disciplinary Emotional &amp; Behavioural CAMHS Team based in Dunstable, within the South Bedfordshire Specialist CAMHS Service.   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The post-holder will have experience of working in CAMHS. You will be offering assessment and therapeutic treatment to young people with moderate to severe mental health difficulties and their families/carers, including generic CAMHS assessments as needed. You will be joining with our team's existing systemic psychotherapist and co-facilitating family therapy clinics and groups as appropriate (e.g. NVR and parent sessions), potentially also working alongside therapists from other local CAMHS teams. You will involve parent/carers, schools and other agencies as required. In addition, the post holder will offer consultations. You will require a high degree of professional autonomy, organization, and self management, with the ability to work well in a team. You will be supported by regular specialist clinical and management supervision sessions, access to a variety of internal CPD sessions, and annual performance appraisals. You will also participate in weekly clinical discussions with the teams, monthly complex case discussions and a monthly reflective space. There are opportunities to take part in discipline-specific meetings within Bedfordshire CAMHS and ELFT.</p>
