Remote Autism Assessors (ADOS-2 / ADI-R) Hunter Gatherer Mental Health are seeking experienced clinicians trained in ADOS-2 and/or ADI-R to deliver high-quality remote autism assessments for children, young people, and adults. This is a flexible locum opportunity with competitive pay, offering the chance to support individuals and families through accurate, timely, and neurodiversity-affirming diagnostics. The Role You will conduct autism assessments using recognised tools (ADOS-2, ADI-R, and screening assessments), contribute to diagnostic conclusions, and provide feedback to patients and families. This role requires commitment to at least three assessment slots per week. Pay Structure <ul> <li> Screening Assessment - 30 minutes (15 minutes with patient, 15 minutes write-up) </li><li> ADOS-2 Assessment - 4 hours (up to 90 minutes with patient, 2 hours write-up, 30 minutes feedback) </li><li> ADI-R Assessment - 5 hours (up to 2.5 hours with informant, 2 hours write-up, 30 minutes feedback) </li><li> Did Not Attend (DNA) - Paid for 1 hour (excludes screenings) </li><li> Cancellations - Not payable </li></ul> Key Responsibilities <ul> <li> Administer and score ADOS-2 and/or ADI-R assessments with accuracy </li><li> Gather developmental history and collateral information where required </li><li> Deliver feedback sensitively to patients and families </li><li> Prepare high-quality clinical reports </li><li> Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team </li><li> Maintain professional records in line with standards and regulations </li></ul> Requirements <ul> <li> Qualified professional (Psychologist or related discipline) </li><li> Certified training in ADOS-2 and/or ADI-R </li><li> Experience conducting autism assessments across age groups </li><li> Current registration with relevant professional body HCPC preferred but will consider BPS </li><li> Strong clinical judgement and communication skills </li><li> Ability to commit to at least 3 assessment slots per week </li></ul> Why Join Us? <ul> <li> Fully remote - work flexibly from home </li><li> Competitive sessional rates (with higher pay for Psychologists &amp; Psychiatrists) </li><li> Paid for DNAs (excluding screenings) </li><li> Full operational and administrative support </li><li> Be part of a growing, specialist autism service making a real difference </li></ul>
