Remote Autism Assessors (ADOS-2 / ADI-R)
Hunter Gatherer Mental Health are seeking experienced clinicians trained in ADOS-2 and/or ADI-R to deliver high-quality remote autism assessments for children, young people, and adults. This is a flexible locum opportunity with competitive pay, offering the chance to support individuals and families through accurate, timely, and neurodiversity-affirming diagnostics.
The RoleYou will conduct autism assessments using recognised tools (ADOS-2, ADI-R, and screening assessments), contribute to diagnostic conclusions, and provide feedback to patients and families. This role requires commitment to at least three assessment slots per week.
Pay Structure-
Screening Assessment - 30 minutes (15 minutes with patient, 15 minutes write-up)

ADOS-2 Assessment - 4 hours (up to 90 minutes with patient, 2 hours write-up, 30 minutes feedback)

ADI-R Assessment - 5 hours (up to 2.5 hours with informant, 2 hours write-up, 30 minutes feedback)

Did Not Attend (DNA) - Paid for 1 hour (excludes screenings)

Administer and score ADOS-2 and/or ADI-R assessments with accuracy

Gather developmental history and collateral information where required

Deliver feedback sensitively to patients and families

Prepare high-quality clinical reports

Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team

Maintain professional records in line with standards and regulations

Qualified professional (Psychologist or related discipline)

Certified training in ADOS-2 and/or ADI-R

Experience conducting autism assessments across age groups

Current registration with relevant professional body HCPC preferred but will consider BPS

Strong clinical judgement and communication skills

Ability to commit to at least 3 assessment slots per week
