The urban team covers Poole, Bournemouth &amp; Christchurch.</p> <p>We have permanent positions available in Poole (full time 5 days per week 37.5 hrs) and Bournemouth West( 3 days per week 22.5 hours). Interviews will be face to face at Gravel Hill, Canford Magna, Wimborne, Dorset.</p> <p>This is an excellent opportunity for someone with the appropriate skills, experience and qualifications to join a highly motivated, professional and committed team. The successful candidate will work as part of a team, be expected to work flexibly including one evening per week (1200-2000 shift) to meet with service demand.</p> <p>Previous experience of working in an NHS mental health setting, NHS Talking Therapies previously IAPT (Improving Access to Psychological Therapy) service or similar organisation would be highly desirable. If so, we are currently looking for enthusiastic, forward thinking and self-motivated individual to join our multidisciplinary team in providing high-quality, person-centred support to people accessing care under the Perinatal Mental Health Service.</p><p>We are looking to recruit an individual that has lived experience of mental health difficulties within the perinatal period as a Perinatal Peer Support Worker in our Mid and North East Hampshire patch.</p><p>The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Perinatal Community Mental Health Team provides mental health support and services for birthing people and their families during pregnancy and up to 24 months after birth. The team prioritises people with moderate to severe and complex mental health needs. The service also provides consultation for advice, information and signposting for people with a less severe mental illness in the perinatal period to primary care providers including GP's Health visitors and maternity services as well as the birthing people themselves.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>Peer Support Workers are people with previous experience of using mental health services who are employed, trained and supported to use these experiences to support others. At the heart of the role is the building of safe, trusting relationships based on the sharing of lived experience. The focus of the peer worker role is on enabling individuals to discover and make use of their strengths, and to build and strengthen connections to their peers and wider communities.</p><p>The successful applicant will be working alongside our other existing Peer Support Workers. The team's current base is Southern House in Otterbourne near Winchester.</p><p>The role is part of an innovative service providing specialist assessment, support and treatment for women/birthing people and their families. The service is an early implementer site in developing a Maternity Mental Health Service and has close links with NHS Talking Therapy services with the aim of ensuring a clear pathway for women/birthing people in terms of their health and wellbeing during the antenatal and postnatal period.</p><p>We offer candidates an excellent local induction to the team including peer to peer induction shadowing and opportunity to learn and expand knowledge around the specialism of Perinatal Mental Health care. Perinatal Peer Support Worker

  <p>We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic practitioner to train in Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) with a view to applying for a Band 7 role upon completing their training and accreditation in DBT.</p><p>You would be joining a friendly and supportive team of clinicians across 2 DBT teams who pride ourselves on delivering high quality care and promoting recovery. We are committed to continuing professional development and self-care, and ensuring staff are able to achieve the right work-life balance. All psychological therapists within the service are embedded within clinical teams, contributing to MDT care planning and the delivery of trauma informed care, and offering psychological assessment and evidence-based therapies. Within the service, we offer a range of therapies, including: Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), family interventions, Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).</p><p>You would complete postgraduate training in DBT, alongside offering a clinical service to patients under supervision. You will specialise in offering therapy to service users experiencing emotional dysregulation, including those with a diagnosis of emotionally unstable personality disorder. You will deliver full-package DBT as part of a team, including group work and phone coaching.</p>
