  <p>Are you looking for an Art Psychotherapy position in Adult Learning Disability that is as part of a supportive, innovative and engaged MDT that delivers excellent care and improves the lives of people with a learning disability?</p>
<p>This post is an exciting opportunity for an Art Psychotherapist who wishes to further develop their specialist skills working with adults with learning disabilities including autism.</p>
<p>As a result of service changes this is a new Band 7 post dedicated to Bexley Community Learning Disabilities Team, for 2 days a week currently, to maintain and further develop the art psychotherapy provision for adults with varying degrees of learning disability, some of whom have complex needs including Autistic Spectrum Disorder, mental health difficulties and/or challenging behaviour.</p>
<p>You will work as part of the Bexley multi-disciplinary community learning disability team, within the psychological therapies sub-team.</p>
<p>There is another Art Therapist co-located within the Bromley CLDT, and another in the Greenwich CLDT based at a different location. We also have a Music Therapist in all 3 boroughs so it is an exciting time within creative therapies in Oxleas ALD service.</p>
<p>The Bexley CLDT is based at Queen Mary's Hospital, Sidcup.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>To assess clients with complex and high risk needs for suitability for individual and group Art therapy. To facilitate a treatment program which is flexible and sensitive to the needs of the clients group and involve clients in 1:1 and Group work, using a variety of art materials in a therapeutic and creative way.</p>
<p>To work as part of a multidisciplinary team in planning, implementing and evaluating treatment, providing assessment and treatment for clients referred to the service and evaluate care.</p>
<p>To provide specialist advice and clinical supervision for other professionals, colleagues or trainees.</p>
<p>The post holder will show proof of commitment to continuing professional development.</p>

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>This is an exciting opportunity to work within a newly commissioned pan-London Men's Mental Health Treatment Requirement (MHTR) service to reduce custodial sentences and improve the wellbeing of men in the criminal justice system with mental health needs. Mental Health Treatment Requirements (MHTRs) were introduced by the Criminal Justice Act in 2003, recognising that for many individuals who offend, mental health and substance misuse issues underpin their offending behaviour. Treatment requirements offer courts an alternative to short custodial sentences and aim to prevent reoffending by addressing underlying vulnerabilities and improving quality of life. This service aims to increase the use of primary care treatment requirements as part of a community sentence, offering psychologically informed interventions and advice. The MHTR Service will also provide the courts with information and confidence to sentence to robust and effective treatment requirements.</p> <p>North London Forensic Collaborative is the largest forensic Provider Collaborative in England and is a partnership between forensic services within five NHS Trusts including: North London NHS Foundation Trust - Lead Provider; Central North West London NHS Foundation Trust; East London NHS Foundation Trust; North East London NHS Foundation Trust and West London NHS Trust.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>This band 7 post will be hosted by North East London NHS Foundation Trust as part of a team that will work across the whole of North East London. Some of the posts in the team are hosted by NELFT and some ELFT.</p> <p>North London Forensic Collaborative are looking for three 1.0 WTE band 7 Psychologists or Psychological Therapists. NELFT is recruiting to one of these posts which will be responsible for assessing for suitability and making recommendations for MHTRs across North East London; and for delivering short-term psychological interventions for those that are sentenced to an MHTR. There are two equivalent posts being recruited to via CNWL and we expect the services to work closely together to ensure that there is consistency in the MHTR service being offered across London.</p> <p>The successful candidates will hold a clinical caseload and be responsible for supervision of the senior Assistant Psychologist team. We hope to recruit a staff team reflective of the population we serve and welcome applications from those with protected characteristics, including minoritised ethnic groups.   <p>We are pleased to be recruiting to a trauma specialist 8a psychological therapist post (0.8 wte) to work within our multi-modality therapy team in secondary care for adults with moderate-severe mood, anxiety and personality disorders. The post holder will be an experienced clinician for service users with PTSD and complex PTSD offering trauma-focussed CBT (may additionally be experienced in EMDR), also with significant experience using CBT for adults with moderate to severe mood and anxiety disorders. The post holder will have experience of line managing and supervising junior psychologists trainees, as well as offering consultation and link-working with colleagues.</p>

  <p>The successful applicant will demonstrate experience and skill in working with PTSD and cPTSD with adults in secondary care with moderate-severe presentations, using trauma-focussed CBT, as well as other mood and anxiety disorders. The role requires supervision and line management of more junior psychologists and trainees. The post holder will contribute to service audits and development projects, and consultation within the team and to other professionals.</p>

  <p>1. The successful applicant will work alongside other Clinical/Counselling Psychologists delivering assessment and therapy, with some of the staff also employed in specialist trauma posts. They will also work alongside psychotherapists offering Cognitive Analytic Therapy and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy as part of this well-established multi-modality team. There are line management and supervisory responsibilities, as well as link-working with CMHTs to provide consultation, teaching, co-working. The team is based in central Croydon (Jeanette Wallace House) and face-to-face sessions are provided at this base and at other Croydon sites. Wednesdays are an essential team day.Development opportunities: The Trust provides access to a wide range of CPD opportunities and all staff are encouraged to undertake development opportunities and activities relevant to their post. <h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>You will be supervised by Professor Paul Edison  who leads the Imperial Memory Research Centre within the Department of Brain Sciences. The Centre evaluates neuroinflammation and other neurodegenerative process such as synaptic function, mitochondrial function, amyloid and tau and structural functional changes in neurodegeneration using PET, MRI and CSF markers, and involves both basic and translational imaging.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>To lead and undertake research of the highest quality in the broad area of dementia and cognitive impairment:
* To undertake research studies, contributing to ongoing studies and developing new studies in discussion with Prof Edison
* To undertake appropriate clinical evaluation of the patients and other tasks for effective running of the research
* To participate in data analysis, manuscript writing (both original research and review) and publications.
* To attend research meetings and seminars within the group and at scientific conferences
* To undertake any necessary training and/or development
* To plan and help with the writing of future research proposals for funding and fellowship 
applications under the direction of Prof Edison
