  <p>We are seeking to recruit a full-time Band 8B Principal Applied Psychologist in Adult Community Mental Health (Planned Care) at Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (BCHFT). You would join our community-based psychological therapies service for working age adults within secondary care services; you would work within our Community Mental Health Team in Walsall Northand potentially across the locality according to service need.</p>  <p>We are a combination of Practitioner Psychologists, CBT Therapists and DBT Therapists offering a range of group and individual therapies in line with recovery models of care and trauma-informed practice. There are opportunities to apply and develop your time-limited psychological skills in CBT, DBT, EMDR, ACT, CFT, CAT and ISTDP.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>We see clients with a range of complex mental health problems including CPTSD, personality disorders, psychosis, bipolar disorder, and moderate to severe presentations of depression and anxiety. We fully invest in the support and wellbeing of our staff. Staff have regular appropriate supervision, reflective practice and access to CPD to support professional growth.</p>  <p>We also provide opportunities in leadership, developing others, developing advanced therapeutic skills, and service/organisational development. </p> <p>As part of Community Transformation, psychological therapies are fully integrated into four Community Mental Health Teams across our four localities (Wolverhampton, Sandwell, Dudley and Walsall). We work within a strong multi-disciplinary ethos, with very good links with staff from Tier 1, our Recovery College and VCSE partners.</p> <p>The core CMHTs are supported by specialist services which also include psychological therapists: Complex Emotional Needs Service; Eating Disorders; Perinatal Services; 18-25s Transitions Team; Early Intervention in Psychosis; Clinical Health Psychology.</p>  <p>Whilst Operational managers provide our line management, we provide strong professional leadership, clinical supervision and support to all our psychological staff. <h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>We are pleased to offer this Associate Psychological Practitioner (APP)/Mental Health wellbeing Practitioner (MHWP) post within specialist eating disorder services. The post is based at Harvey House, Lancaster and working from Kendal and Barrow which are the bases for the Bay Eating Disorder Team. The team is part of the All Age Eating Disorder Service which covers Lancashire and South Cumbria and has close links with our other locality teams based in the Bay (Lancaster and South Cumbria), Fylde Coast, East and West Lancashire providing multi-disciplinary specialist care for people who have an eating disorder. You will be joining a dynamic multi-disciplinary team of professionals with a passion for working with people who have eating disorders including psychological therapists, systemic family therapist, specialist mental health nurses, specialist dietitian and medical professionals.</p>
<p>You will be joining the team at an exciting time of real development as the service works together to improve services for people who have an eating disorder. You will benefit from working with an enthusiastic, hardworking and supportive team who are committed to delivering high quality NICE compliant psychological therapies to people of all ages with an eating disorder. The post holder will receive regular supervision and professional support from either a psychologist or CBT therapist.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The service is committed to training and development of staff and you would be supported to access training in eating disorder specific CBT models, if required.</p>
<p>The successful candidate will be expected to deliver low intensity CBT interventions mainly focused on the eating disorder. Interventions will be offered in both 1:1 and group formats.</p>
<p>Applications will be welcome from suitably qualified Associate Psychological Practitioners, who have completed the Postgraduate Diploma Associate Psychological Practitioner (PGDip APP) and Mental Health wellbeing Practitioner (MHWP) additional training.</p>

The post is based at Pendle House, Nelson, East Lancashire Eating Disorder Team. The team is part of the All Age Eating Disorder Service which covers Lancashire and South Cumbria and has close links with our other locality teams based in the Bay (Lancaster and South Cumbria), Fylde Coast, Central and West Lancashire providing multi-disciplinary specialist care for people who have an eating disorder. You will be joining a dynamic multi-disciplinary team of professionals with a passion for working with people who have eating disorders including psychological therapists, systemic family therapist, specialist mental health nurses, specialist dietitian and medical professionals.</p>   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>You will be joining the team at an exciting time of real development as the service works together to improve services for people who have an eating disorder. You will benefit from working with an enthusiastic, hardworking and supportive team who are committed to delivering high quality NICE compliant psychological therapies to people of all ages with an eating disorder. The post holder will receive regular supervision and professional support from either a psychologist or CBT therapist. The service is committed to training and development of staff and you would be supported to access training in eating disorder specific CBT models, if required.</p>
<p>The successful candidate will be expected to deliver low intensity CBT interventions mainly focused on the eating disorder. Interventions will be offered in both 1:1 and group formats.</p>
<p>Applications will be welcome from suitably qualified Associate Psychological Practitioners, who have completed the Postgraduate Diploma Associate Psychological Practitioner (PGDip APP).</p>
<p>Please note: This post is subject to an enhanced DBS Clearance. As part of the pre-employment checks, successful candidates will be required to pay for their own DBS check at a cost of £55.50. Deductions will be taken from the first 3 months salary.</p>

  <p>OpCourage, the community veterans mental health service in the South West, is seeking a Band 7 Psychologist or Psychological Therapist to join our dedicated team. This vital role involves providing psychological assessments, evidence-based therapies, and tailored interventions to veterans experiencing mental health issues, including PTSD, anxiety, and depression.</p>
<p>The successful candidate will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, fostering a supportive environment for veterans and their families.   <p>The post holder will provide face-to-face evidence based psychological therapy in an AWP/ NHS site or other community setting in the Wiltshire and Dorset area. Psychological therapy will also be offered to Veterans in our wider geographical area, via an online platform; both modes support consistent access to care and treatment. </p> <p>Job Summary to be read alongside the key local information:</p> <p>o To assess and treat a specialist workload of clients (military veterans with complex mental health needs) and maintain associated records on the electronic case record.</p> <p>o To provide high intensity evidenced based psychological interventions as part of NHSE Op Courage Integrated Veterans Mental Health and Wellbeing Service, South West; these will including at least Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and/ or EMDR for complex presentations (i.e. Step 3 and above).</p> <p>o Provide consultation, liaison and possibly clinical supervision to other professionals, who may include less experienced therapists, Assistant Psychologists and Trainee Clinical Psychologists.</p> <p>o Undertake clinical audit/ service evaluation activities leading to the development of services relevant to client needs.</p> <p>o To develop best practice knowledge in working with veterans and promote knowledge in this area, including supporting research projects where useful with the support of the psychology lead.</p>
