  <p>Can you provide professional leadership to support the organisation, planning, and delivery of peer support across Forensic service's at MPFT?</p> <p>Can you manage operational and strategic plans and policies, ensuring the delivery of effective, efficient and high quality services for patients and their families / carers?</p> <p>If so our Forensic service would love to hear from you as we recruit for a Professional Lead for Lived Experience</p> <p>You will challenge, support and work in partnership with our service health teams (using personal lived experience) in delivering the strategic direction of the peer recovery working approach.   <p>As the forensic professional lead you will be part of the trust wide lived experience leads team contributing towards the strategic development of peer support working across the Trust and representing the needs of the patient population in forensics. .</p> <p>You will provide professional leadership for peer support workers and other lived experience peer roles across Forensic Mental Health Services.</p> <p>You will work in collaboration with the Trust Recovery Lead Partner / Wellbeing and Recovery College Service Manager and the Knowledge and Understanding Framework (KUF) Trainer to ensure the leadership, development and support of the lived experience peer support workers at the Trust, and those based with Voluntary Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) partner organisations</p> <p>You will be working closely with clinical colleagues to promote, develop and embed the principles of recovery orientated practice across forensic mental health services and supporting the development and ongoing delivery of the System's Peer Support provision.</p>

  <p>The post holder will be working as a member of the mental health team to provide psychological interventions for a wide range of mental health challenges, including the delivery of psychoeducational groups and one to one work, as well as working with neurodiverse residents. The ability to employ CBT for common mental health challenges is essential but the post holder will also make use of other psychological approaches as necessary to ensure that the most suitable person-centred care is provided.</p>

Senior Assistant Psychologist

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>The Genomic Associate will be based in the Clinical Genetics Service at Northwick Park Hospital and will work alongside clinical geneticists, genetic counsellors, laboratory staff and other healthcare professionals to provide enhanced contact with patients at the point of referral, and after genetic testing and counselling, to facilitate the collection of information and obtain consent, where needed. The genomic Associate will also help to facilitate access to the service, particularly amongst marginalised communities and families who are difficult to engage. The post holder will be responsible for requesting test reports, relevant tissue/samples and testing by liaising with laboratories, families, and clinical teams, as well as the tracking of such requests They will keep clinicians and patients updated on progress, highlighting any long waiters.</p> <p>Under supervision, you will support the team with keeping spreadsheets, databases and portals updated for gene carriers, as well as undertaking regular audit to ensure patients are accepted onto screening programs. They will be responsible for arranging breast screening for those at high risk and keeping spreadsheets/records updated.</p> <p>the post holder will support the team with cancer triage by obtaining family history information, entering of data for online cancer risk assessments and generating a risk calculation using that program (e.g. CanRisk) for interpretation and use by genetic counsellors and clinical geneticists.</p>

  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>As Duty Coordinator, you will accept referrals into the service and make decisions on the suitability of those referrals. Establishing a pathway for referrers and patients, you will act as a point of contact for external professionals and service users when they are seeking help or advice.</p> <p>The post-holder will be expected to contribute to the development and maintenance of the service and meet performance standards for output and clinical outcomes.</p> <p>The Duty Coordinator is not expected to carry a caseload of clients, and will instead support staff to work with IAPT-appropriate cases for which they have received suitable training.
