<h2><strong>Fully remote, full-time internship for aspiring clinical psychologists, psychotherapists and counsellors.</strong></h2><p>Our Clinical Psychology Internship equips aspiring mental health professionals worldwide with essential skills and practical client-facing experience, preparing them for careers in clinical psychology, coaching, psychotherapy, or counselling.</p><p>Interns complete an intensive one-month crash course covering a toolkit of evidence-based techniques from Motivational Interviewing, Coaching, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).   <p><strong>Are you a compassionate and experienced counsellor looking to make a significant impact?</strong></p><p><strong>Do you excel in providing non-judgmental, client-centered support through telephone counselling?</strong></p><p>BPAS are looking for a Telephone Counsellor to join the Counselling Services team. Reporting into the Counselling Services Manager, you will provide a high-quality telephone counselling service to clients considering or choosing an abortion, as well as those seeking post-abortion support.</p><p>You will offer brief, time-limited counselling to help clients navigate their decisions and emotions. This role involves assessing client suitability for BPAS counselling, making referrals to other services when necessary, and maintaining accurate and confidential client records.</p><p><em>This role is working remotely from home for 20 hours per week over Monday, Tuesday, and </em><em>Wednesdays, with 1 in 4 Saturdays. A detailed shift pattern can be found below.</em></p><p><strong>About You:</strong></p><p>The successful candidate will hold a minimum Level 4 diploma in professional counselling, and be registered with BACP or an accredited NCPS registrant. You should have training in integrative modality and online/telephone counselling, with experience in short-term, non-directive counselling. Remote ADHD Psychologist

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>We are seeking to recruit a full-time Band 8a Senior Applied Psychologist in Adult Community Mental Health (Planned Care) at Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (BCHFT). You would join our community-based psychological therapies service for working age adults within secondary care services; you would work within our Community Mental Health Team in Dudley Northand potentially across the locality according to service need.</p>  <p>We would also welcome applications from newly qualified Psychologists who are seeking a Preceptorship post from Band 7 to 8a.</p>  <p>We are a combination of Practitioner Psychologists, CBT Therapists and DBT Therapists offering a range of group and individual therapies in line with recovery models of care and trauma-informed practice. There are opportunities to apply and develop your time-limited psychological skills in CBT, DBT, EMDR, ACT, CFT, CAT and brief psychodynamic therapy.</p>

  <p>We see clients with a range of complex mental health problems including CPTSD, personality disorders, psychosis, bipolar disorder, and moderate/severe presentations of depression and anxiety. We fully invest in the support and wellbeing of our staff. Staff have regular appropriate supervision, reflective practice and access to CPD to support professional growth.</p>  <p>We also provide opportunities in leadership, developing others, developing advanced therapeutic skills, and service/organisational development. </p> <p>As part of Community Transformation, psychological therapies are fully integrated into four Community Mental Health Teams across our four localities (Wolverhampton, Sandwell, Dudley and Walsall). We work within a strong multi-disciplinary ethos, with very good links with staff from Tier 1, our Recovery College and VCSE partners.</p> <p>The core CMHTs are supported by specialist services which also include psychological therapists: Complex Emotional Needs Service; Eating Disorders; Perinatal Services; 18-25s Transitions Team; Early Intervention in Psychosis; Clinical Health Psychology.</p>  <p>Whilst Operational managers provide our line management, we provide strong professional leadership, clinical supervision and support to all our psychological staff. Psychology is a vital and influential field, represented at every level in our Trust, including the roles of our Chief Therapies Officer, and also our Chief Clinical Information Officer who are both Consultant Clinical Psychologists.</p>

  <p>An exciting opportunity for a Psychodynamic Psychotherapist to join our established Specialist Psychotherapy Service at BSMHFT, to support us in delivering and developing high quality therapy services for patients with complex attachment trauma and emotional needs. This post is open to professionals with a core mental health profession EG: psychology (clinical or counselling), art psychotherapy, mental health nursing or related field with further training in and experience of providing psychodynamic psychotherapy.</p>
<p>We are a well-established service that has been providing therapeutic services for over thirty years, for people with complex and enduring emotional difficulties. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team of people committed to providing and maintaining high quality and compassionate psychological care and supporting staff in applying psychodynamic ideas to their work through the provision of supervision, consultation and training. Continuing professional development and the opportunity to learn from experience is highly valued in this service.</p>
<p>We are looking for someone who has a training and experience in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy and an understanding and an interest in Compassion Focused Therapy and who is willing to engage in further training to meet the needs of the service. Any further training required will be supported by SPS. The post offers the opportunity to be involved in both individual and group therapy.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>A psychodynamic approach underpins all of our work at SPS. We provide group and individual long term psychotherapy for up to years. This includes a compassion focused group psychotherapy programme, a therapeutic day programme, analytic group work and individual psychotherapy. We also provide supervision, reflective practice , consultation, link work and training to staff across the trust and you would be expected to contribute to these activities as needed with a focus on the clinical provision in SPS.</p>
<p>As a member of the team you will be expected to contribute to projects that are aimed at improving the quality and accessibility of our service to our diverse Birmingham population.</p>
<p>You will be supported in this post through clinical supervision, reflective practice and line management arrangements. This position will be based at Callum Lodge in Winson Green and Coach House at the Uffculme site, although travel to other sites on occasion may be required.</p>
<p>There will be opportunities to work with colleagues across the trust on specific projects and there is an option to be part of the on call rota system.</p>

  <p>The post holder will be working within a busy team alongside a team ofregistered mental health nurses and be supported by the Team Manager,Senior Clinical Lead/CBT Practitioner, and team administrators.</p> <p>Post holders will have a high level of autonomy working across designated GP practices, managing their own clinics and providing mental healthassessment and evidenced based treatment for people aged over 18.   <p>Are you a qualified mental health professional seeking specialist training in psychodynamic psychotherapy? Join our Specialist Psychotherapies Service as a Band 7 Trainee Psychotherapist.</p> <p>This opportunity is ideal for experienced practitioners from core mental health professions--nursing, OT, social work, or arts therapy--who are passionate about psychodynamic approaches and committed to professional growth. The role includes a fully supported training programme leading to British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) accreditation.</p> <p>You'll deliver psychodynamically informed therapy under supervision, working with individuals facing complex mental health challenges. Training includes weekly personal therapy, seminars, essay writing, and supervision. You'll also contribute to service development, audits, and research.</p> <p>Applicants should have at least five years' post-registration experience and prior therapeutic training (e.g. counselling, CBT, DBT, IAPT). Strong communication skills, reflective practice, and a commitment to development are essential. Experience with psychological interventions and understanding of psychodynamic principles are desirable.</p> <p>This is a unique chance to train while working in a supportive, multidisciplinary team.
