  <p><strong>Band 8a Practitioner Psychologist in Pain Management</strong>   This is an exciting opportunity to join the Enfield Pain Service (EPS) which serves patients who have a long-term pain condition e.g. chronic lower back pain, chronic widespread pain, fibromyalgia. The EPS is staffed by a supportive team of medical, physiotherapy and psychology professionals as we acknowledge that pain impacts a person's life in lots of different ways.   You'll be working under the supervision of a Consultant Clinical Psychologist to deliver psychological assessment and intervention (1:1 and group pain management programmes based on CBT/ACT/CFT) for this cohort of patients. You'll also be supporting the wider multidisciplinary team and liaising with relevant external community services e.g. Talking Therapies, MSK services, community mental health teams. As one of the senior clinicians in the service, you'll be managing and supervising other members of the EPS, leading on aspects of service delivery, evaluation and innovation, and taking on managerial duties to ensure the effective running of the service. Previous experience of working in Pain and/or Long-term Health Conditions is essential. Having additional training and experience in EMDR and PTSD would be advantageous. <p>Our Substance Misuse Service at HMP Huntercombe is looking for a dynamic and experienced Recovery Worker. The team is innovative, forward thinking and committed to a Recovery focused approach that meets people's needs. <p>Working with people who have complex offending backgrounds and substance use needs within prison is both challenging and rewarding. This is a fantastic chance to make a positive difference to the lives of people who are often disadvantaged and vulnerable.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>You will work within a multi-disciplinary team, in a custodial environment delivering a high standard drug and alcohol recovery service in response to the needs of the service users as part of Inclusion and Midlands Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust.</p>
<p>You will deliver a range of psychosocial interventions to substance misusing offenders within a prison environment.</p>

<li>To provide a range of low, medium and high intensity interventions as part of the integrated offender mental health, substance misuse team to those service users experiencing substance misuse problems.</li>
<li>To work within a multi-disciplinary team, in a custodial environment delivering a high standard drug and alcohol recovery service in response to the needs of the service users as part of Inclusion and Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation trust.</li>
<li>To provide a range of psycho-social interventions motivating and supporting service users to achieve recovery and positive outcomes within a recovery-orientated substance misuse treatment service</li>
<li>To work in collaboration with clinical prescribing services to ensure the needs of each service user is met and that integrated working is a key element to Inclusions prison services.</li>
