  <p>The Podiatry Service at Wirral Community Health and Care NHS Foundation NHS Trust (WCHC) has an exciting opportunity for dynamic, motivated and enthusiastic newly/recently qualified podiatrists to join our committed and friendly team. </p> <p>As a newly/recently qualified podiatrist you will be supported by our experienced team of podiatrists, podiatry assistants and admin support staff. Together we will build on the experience and knowledge you have already gained to enable you to safely assess and treat a wide range of complex podiatry conditions for patients with a variety of other clinical needs, including: acute or chronic, neuropathies, chronic diseases, vascular problems, wound management and nail surgery.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>WCHC is an innovative and forward-thinking organisation. We work closely with our local acute Trust to support their high-risk diabetic out-patient clinics and there will be opportunities to shadow and develop your skills in this area. We also manufacture our own insoles using state of the art CAD-CAM technology and pressure mapping technology as well as developing new pathways and services to improve patient experience and outcomes.</p> <p>Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council as a podiatrist (or on qualification), you will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with GPs and other healthcare professionals. Good IT skills are essential as the role requires working across a range of clinical systems. </p> <p>We will provide a fully structured induction programme and weactively support CPD and personal development for all staff and we will provide opportunities to develop within the role.</p> <p>The Podiatry Service is delivered from a number of community clinics, GP practices as well as nursing homes and domiciliary settings across Wirral, therefore you must have access to your own transport for work purposes. </p> <p>Wirral has excellent transport links to North Wales, Liverpool, Manchester, as well as the historic city of Chester. </p>

Visit Health and Care Worker visa: Overview - GOV.UK</em></p> <p><strong>Clinical Psychologist, Eating Disorder Service</strong></p> <p>EDYs provide support and treatment for children and young people in Liverpool and Sefton with an eating disorder and/or ARFID, as well as their parents/carers and professionals involved in their care. This is a multidisciplinary team including Consultant Psychiatrist and Consultant Paediatricians, Clinical Psychology, Family Therapy, CBT and SFP trained staff, Nursing, Support Worker, Assistant Practitioner and Assistant Psychology.</p> <p>The successful applicant will provide a substantial contribution to the clinical work of the team and will hold full case management responsibility for their workload. Regular clinical supervision will be provided.</p> <p>The main base for this post will be at Alder Hey, but appointments across Liverpool and Sefton will be required.</p> <p>Experience working with children and young people with an eating disorder and/or ARFID will be beneficial. In addition to undertaking assessments and providing intervention and support to children, young people and their families, the post holder will also undertake physical monitoring under the guidance of our Consultant Paediatricians.</p>

  <p>Sefton Enhanced Support Team is looking for an experienced Mental Health Practitioner to join our service.</p> <p>The Enhanced Support Team works with children and young people with complex needs who present with high risk, high harm behaviours and high vulnerability. They are likely to have difficulties in multiple domains which are persistent, severe and are framed by family and social contexts (family disruption, loss, ACEs). This may include for example, children and young people who are involved in youth justice services, not in education employment or training, who engage in substance misuse, have multiple adverse childhood experiences, who are neurodiverse or have speech language and communication difficulties etc. These children and young people are likely to have been referred to multiple services, but there are significant barriers to engagement</p> <p>Sefton Enhanced Support Team has links into Community CAMHS however is integrated with Children's Services including Social Care and Youth Justice.</p> <p>The successful applicant will provide a substantial contribution to the clinical work of the team and will hold case management responsibility for their workload. Provision of supervision to lower banded team members, students and other internal professionals as required is expected.</p> <p>We are particularly seeking candidates who have experience of working within complex systems, providing case consultation and working with families indirectly via wider professional involvement.</p>
