  <p>We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Clinical Psychologist to join our developing Neighbourhood Mental Health Team (NMHT) in Wigan (previously called Living Well).</p> <p>Wigan Community Mental Health services are going through an exciting period of change in line with Community Transformation. The post is based at Pendle House, Nelson, East Lancashire Eating Disorder Team. The team is part of the All Age Eating Disorder Service which covers Lancashire and South Cumbria and has close links with our other locality teams based in the Bay (Lancaster and South Cumbria), Fylde Coast, Central and West Lancashire providing multi-disciplinary specialist care for people who have an eating disorder. <h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>As an autonomous practitioner you will play a key part in the delivery of high-quality service provision that promotes and improves the mental health and well-being of children and young people, their families and carers. Managing a complex caseload within the multi-disciplinary team setting, the post holder will provide a range of high-quality care appropriate to the child or young person's needs which will include full mental health assessment, risk assessment and management, family and social assessment, consultation and therapeutic interventions.</p>
<p>Within a systemic and holistic framework, you will undertake needs led, evidence based, highly skilled assessments and provide therapeutic interventions, ensuring this is done evidencing shared decision making and partnership working with children and young people, their families and carers.</p>
<p>You will provide advice, information, consultation and supervision within the service and externally within your specialist area.</p>
<p>As part of working together you will actively liaise with and support robust partnership working arrangements between the CAMHS team and community partners and other key stakeholders involved with the child across agencies that work within the Child and Adolescent Mental Health THRIVE framework.</p>
<p>This is a clinical post and the expectation of time management is the majority of time will be spent in actual practice.</p>

  <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HCPC registered band 5-6 Dietitian to join the West Lancs All Age Eating Disorder Team, based in Ormskirk District General Hospital. This post is offered as an initial 12 months band six preceptorship/development post ideal for the dietitian who wishes to make the move into the specialist area of eating disorders but has limited experience. Robust support will be provided during this time to aid in the development of specialist skills within this area.</p>
<p>Our vision is to be a service that provides non-judgmental timely support for eating disorders for all ages.</p>
<p>We are looking for a professional who will provide a high quality, evidence based up to date nutrition and dietetic service to community services, with the focus on providing dietetic support to young people and adults with eating disorders.</p>
<p>The post holder will work within the multi-disciplinary team setting to deliver a specialised dietetic service to the Central team. The MDT includes clinical psychologists, psychiatrists, specialist practitioners, CBT therapists, family therapists, and admin. The post holder will also be part of a wider eating disorder dietetic team within the service that offers additional clinical supervision and support.</p>

  <p>Working alongside our Crisis Recovery Workers, you will be part of the Mental Health Matters team offering free  mental health support 7 nights per week from 6pm to midnight.  Our services are provided in a  welcoming, comfortable, non-judgmental, and non-clinical environment.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>Peer Support Workers have lived experience, and the knowledge gained from that 
experience, is the foundation of peer support, helping build connections between peer 
support workers and the people they work with. (PSW Competency Framework, 
2020). Peer Support Workers in MHM work alongside Recovery Workers and other 
staff, their role requires that they draw directly from their own experience of mental 
health difficulties or caring for someone who experiences mental health difficulties.</p>
