<p>You&nbsp;will provide a clinical service of specialist psychology assessments and interventions to a number of adult service users with&nbsp;acute mental health needs&nbsp;on the ward. You will also provide a specialist clinical perspective in relation to other service users with whom you might not be directly involved. Potters Bar uses a formulation driven and trauma informed model of care.</p>
<p>Reporting directly to the Lead Psychologist, you will be responsible for individual and group interventions, diagnostic and cognitive assessments, MDT working and risk assessments. You will also facilitate staff reflective practice sessions and be requested to design and deliver training.</p>

<p><strong>As a Psychologist you will be:</strong></p>
<ul>
    <li>Working autonomously to provide a specialist psychology service to patients as agreed by Consultant Psychiatrist, Therapies Lead, Consultant Clinical Psychologist and in discussion with wider MDT.</li>
    <li>Undertaking specialist assessments.</li>
    <li>Providing specialist interventions according to formulations based on an appropriate conceptual framework, NICE guidelines, evidence from research, and in accordance with the wider MDT formulation and interventions.</li>

    <li>Attending ward rounds (and other MDT meetings), case conferences, CPAs as required, and provide reports in advance for these in accordance with local procedures.</li>

  <p><strong>Highly Specialist Clinical Psychologist (Band 7/8a (depending on experience)</strong></p> <p>Psychologists are integral and valued key members of the Mental Health Care of Older People's multidisciplinary teams (MHCOP) in each borough across East London. Within and across the service, in line with National Guidance, the post holder will be responsible and accountable for the provision of high quality, person-centred and culturally sensitive psychological services to older adults presenting to the service, their families and carers. Our goal is to alleviate psychological distress and promote psychological well-being, working alongside our multi-disciplinary team colleagues in the community and liaison into the centralised wards, where required through consultation, teaching and training.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The post holder will be an active member of City and Hackney's Mental Health Care of Older Adult's service including the centralised MHCOP inpatient wards and wider East London MHCOP Psychology and Arts therapies professional group.</p> <p>They will work closely with psychologists and other professionals in the team maintaining a standardised approach to the assessment and care of Service Users with complex needs across community and inpatient settings. Senior Wellbeing Practitioner

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for Occupational Therapists with experience of working with young people and their families to work in Tri-borough CAMHS. This is a full-time Band 7 permanent post in the CAMHS Alliance service.</p>
<p>We are on a significant journey of transformation in the quality of services provided, through greater co-production with service users and carers, and addressing long-standing inequalities. Increasingly, we are leading and collaborating closely with integrated care partnerships including working towards giving a stronger voice to some of the most vulnerable people in society.</p>
<p>We would be delighted to hear from Occupational Therapists who have some experience working in CAMHS using OT skills and are interested in this role. Candidates who have Crisis and/or Home Treatment experience will be prioritised for this role. The post holder will provide line management, clinical and professional supervision for staff within the discipline, in agreement with the discipline lead.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The Alliance Crisis Team serves 3 key pathways:</p> <p>o Acute Trust and out of hours' serviceo Intensive community support/ Home Treatment service &amp; Post A&amp;E Reviewo Intensive community support/Home Treatment + service with Tier 3 CAMHs interface and Tier 4 diversion/Tier 4 step down</p> <p>The post holders will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, holding a clinical caseload and undertaking the comprehensive assessment of children and young people with mental health needs (including risk assessment and the development of risk management plans) who present in crisis to CAMH Services, hospitals and sites covered by the Alliance Crisis Care.</p> <p>In addition to providing direct work to families and young people, the post holders will also assist the CAMHS and/or paediatrics team with treatment planning and provide consultation to families/carers and other professionals involved in the life of the young person.</p> <p>The post holder will participate in delivering the provision of specialist mental health services to children and young people and their families and carers across the West London NHS Trust 3 Boroughs CAMH Service and crisis pathway.</p>

This is a rare opportunity to contribute to a ground-breaking service that integrates specialist psychological care into the management of complex fetal diagnoses and high-risk pregnancies.</p> <p>We're seeking a HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist with:</p> <p>Experience in working with trauma, grief, or complex medical conditions.Strong assessment, formulation, and therapy skills for both individuals and families.Confidence working within multidisciplinary teams.A commitment to compassionate, culturally sensitive, and trauma-informed practice.Experience in perinatal or reproductive health, and training in approaches such as EMDR, CFT, or trauma-focused CBT, would be beneficial.
