<p>We are seeking a Lead Clinician to join our fast-paced and dynamic CAMHS Crisis and Home Treatment Team. We are looking for an enthusiastic, caring individual with significant post-qualification experience of working with children and adolescents in a community mental health setting.</p>
<p>The CAMHS Crisis and Home Treatment Team works closely with other Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services within Oxfordshire and is part of the urgent care pathway provision, all of which is provided by Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust.</p>
<p>Working as part of an experienced multidisciplinary team, you will deliver high-quality care and contribute to clinical pathway developments, as well as to the assessment and treatment of young people who present to the CAMHS Crisis and Home Treatment Team.</p>

  <p><strong>We currently have 2 full-time and 1 part-time Clinical Psychologist/ CBT Therapist/ Senior Mental Health Clinician Band 7 vacancies in MHST - 1x Full Time (37.5 hours a week) based at Unither House Chertsey, 1x Full-time based at either Unither House, Chertsey or Trust HQ, Leatherhead, 1 x part time ( 30 hours a week) based at Unither House Chertsey.</strong></p> <p>We invite you to consider being involved in this exciting opportunity to help to deliver the governments vision and commitment to develop integrated mental health teams in schools.</p> <p>Building on existing 'whole school approaches' to mental health and wellbeing, Surrey is developing new MHSTs to work with selected primary and secondary schools to increase access to mental health interventions for children and young people up to the age of 18 years.</p> <p>Our MHSTs have 3 core functions; supporting families and young people with mild to moderate mental health difficulties by delivering evidence-based interventions in schools; providing timely advice and consultation to schools, and supporting schools to deliver whole school approaches to mental health and wellbeing. Each MHST is co-located in schools, operating from the four main geographical hubs, with services delivered across the cluster of schools for each area.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>As a Senior Clinician you will be mentoring and/or supervising the development of EMHPs in your team, building a culture of high-quality clinical practice. You will grow and nurture trainees and newly qualified EMHPs, utilising your experience and skills to ensure they develop into well rounded clinicians.</p>
<p>You will take the lead in building relationships with senior leaders in schools, providing regular case consultation, support and advice, and being a 'link' to the wider children's mental health services. Together with the Clinical Lead and educational psychologists, you will develop programmes of work to support schools with their whole school approach goals, enabling more sustainable, holistic change. Finally, you will hold a small caseload, delivering direct interventions to CYP and families.</p>
<p>We are looking to build a multi-disciplinary team whose strength comes from the variety of skills and experience brought by each team member. Thus, we welcome applications from candidates from range of professional backgrounds including, but not exclusively, CBT Therapy, Clinical Psychologist, Family Therapists, Social Work, Psychology, Occupational Therapists, Child Psychotherapy and Mental Health Nurses.</p>

  <p>Mind Matters NHS Talking Therapies are looking to recruit a number of full time Trainee Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners on a fixed term 1 year contract. The NHS Talking Therapies specific training involves in person training at ReadingUniversity with the remainder of your time spent at Mind Matters Base (Unither House, Chertsey).You will be required to work one late shift per week until 8pm.</p>
<p>In addition to attending Reading University for training, you will be learning all about Mind Matters, assisting with administrative duties &amp; as your training progresses you will move on to assess &amp; treat those using Mind Matters for mild to moderate presentations of Anxiety &amp; Depression. You will be trained to deliver high volume, low intensity cognitive behavioural therapy guided self-help interventions and gain the opportunity to offer Interventions by telephone, Microsoft Teams or in person, &amp; group settings.</p>

<p>You would be upgraded to a band 5 position as a PWP after receipt of written confirmation of course completion from training provider and consequently application for professional registration.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>A key part of your role will be undertaking assessments with people with common mental health difficulties, identifying goals and undertaking risk assessments. You will identify treatment plans with your supervisor, communicate plans to your clients and navigate our clinical IT system, sending relevant GP and client letters. You will provide treatment to people struggling with common mental health difficulties. This will involve providing a range of evidence based low-intensity psychological treatments. It will include providing 1:1 guided self-help, delivering computerised CBT and assisting/running psychoeducational groups for clients. You will be responsible for signposting and onwards referrals in collaboration with your supervisor for any inappropriate referrals. You will need to adhere to an agreed amount of client contacts offered per week. You will keep records of clinical activity and use such records, as well as clinical outcomes, to make decisions with your supervisor.</p>
<p>You will need to attend and fulfil all the requirements of the trainee PWP course, including practical and academic university assessments. You will need to be compliant with all the mandatory NHS training. You will need to prepare and present clinical information to your case management supervisor to ensure safe practice and implement any suggestions from supervision. You will be required to engage in clinical skills supervision in order to improve your competencies and clinical practice.</p>

<p><b>Assistant Psychologist - Practitioner Positive Behavioural Support</b></p> <p>Location: South Region Hours: 37.5 hours per weekSalary: £31,827 per annum</p> <p>Car Allowance £3700.00 PA</p> <p>Job Role:</p> <p>This Job description gives an outline of the post and is subject to review in consultation with the post holder.</p> <p>You will be working as part of the Therapy Team you will provide guidance, active support, plans and coaching to the teams across division supporting individuals with behaviour that challenges and supporting individuals who are impacted by a learning disability, autism, acquired brain injury and/ or other mental health challenges.</p> <p>You will be responsible for the implementation of PBS strategies that will improve the quality of life and service user's well-being and working with our support teams, to reduce restrictive interventions.</p> <p>Plan, write up and develop positive behaviour support plans which are personalised and meet the needs of those we support as well as enhance their choice &amp; independence.</p> <p>Leading by example, you will demonstrate strong influencing and communication skills, and will create a culture that encourages openness and transparency where the staff and service users feel fully engaged, and are empowered to innovate and improve services.
