<p>Newham Talking Therapies (NTT) is now recruiting 2 High Intensity CBT Trainee as part of the Talking Therapies Services.</p>
<p>Applications are invited from qualified Clinical or Counselling Psychological Therapists, Mental Health Nurses, Psychotherapists, Counsellors, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers and Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners to apply for the one year full-time post graduate diploma course based at Royal Holloway.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The trainee CBT position includes undertaking the PG Diploma in High Intensity CBT at Royal Holloway, and you can find out more about this role by visiting the Royal Holloway website. Trainees will spend 2 days at university and then 3 days in service working with clients with a range of difficulties.</p>
<p>Shortlisted candidates will be offered an interview during early January 2026 with our service and successful candidates will be offered a conditional offer of employment. As part of this conditional offer, candidates will be required to have an academic meeting with Royal Holloway staff mid-January.</p>
<p>Please note candidates who are Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners must have 2 years post qualification experience at the start of the course (March 2026). Furthermore, we are unable to accept candidates who have already undertaken High Intensity CBT IAPT funded training.</p>

  <p>We are recruiting a <strong>part-time (30 hours per week) substantive Band 7 CAMHS Clinician</strong>to join the <strong>Adolescent Mental Health Team (AMHT)</strong>within <strong>ELFT South Bedfordshire CAMHS</strong>, based in Luton. This is a community-focused role providing a highly specialist mental health service to children, young people, and their families presenting with complex mental health needs.</p> <p>As part of the ELFT AMHT, the post holder will deliver comprehensive specialist assessments and formulation-driven treatment packages, offering flexible, evidence-based episodes of care for adolescents presenting with a range of complex and high-risk mental health difficulties. We're seeking an experienced Speech and Language Therapist (SLT) to develop the speech and language therapy provision with the adult acute mental health inpatient wards.   <p>As part of the ward based team you will provide expert clinical guidance, especially for people with highly complex needs and those requiring specialist Speech and Language therapy assessments and interventions. You will be supported by the rest of the MDT, especially by the Occupational Therapists within the ward. The post holder will offer the core Speech and Language therapy assessments and interventions, as well as proving advice for the MDT on SLT treatment plans and outcomes of assessments. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of transforming our in-patient services across the Trust using person centred, recovery based, trauma informed care to provide the least restrictive interventions.</p>
<p>The role offers the opportunity to develop managerial and leadership skills whilst delivering specialist clinical interventions for people admitted to the adult acute mental health wards. The post holder will receive support and training around the development of working with people with mental health needs as required.</p>
<p>The role offers opportunities to access internal and external training to help embed and develop the SLT provision within this team.   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>As a Senior Clinician you will be mentoring and/or supervising the development of EMHPs in your team, building a culture of high-quality clinical practice. You will grow and nurture trainees and newly qualified EMHPs, utilising your experience and skills to ensure they develop into well rounded clinicians.</p>
<p>You will take the lead in building relationships with senior leaders in schools, providing regular case consultation, support and advice, and being a 'link' to the wider children's mental health services. Together with the Clinical Lead and educational psychologists, you will develop programmes of work to support schools with their whole school approach goals, enabling more sustainable, holistic change. Finally, you will hold a small caseload, delivering direct interventions to CYP and families.</p>
<p>We are looking to build a multi-disciplinary team whose strength comes from the variety of skills and experience brought by each team member. Child and Adolescent CBT Therapist - Independent Practitioner Network

<p>Croydon Drop In (CDI) are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Qualified Volunteer Counsellor to work within our award-winning Voluntary Sector services. The post-holder will work within our safeguarding protocols to provide safe interventions for children and young people using evidence-based methodologies. The post holder will safely work with people across different cultural backgrounds and ages and will be committed to equality, diversity and inclusion.</p>
<p>Counselling is delivered by experienced qualified contracted counsellors, and our team is supported by qualified volunteer counsellors who wish to give back to the community, require a stepping stone to a paid counselling role or are independently working toward increasing their client contact hours or are working toward their accreditation.</p>
<p>To meet the standard criteria you will:</p>
<ul>
<li>Ba a graduate or at post graduate level in counselling or have completed a level 4 Diploma or equivalent in Therapeutic Counselling</li>
<li>Be a Registered Member or an Accredited Member of the BACP membership or equivalent with a professional standards authority (e.g. UKCP, HPC)</li>
<li>Have two years minimum duration of personal counselling or psychotherapy.</li>
<li>Commit to delivering 4 hours counselling (1 evening) per week to young people of the service</li>
<li>Have 1 years’ experience of delivering counselling in a counselling agency or similar setting</li>
