You will be leading the psychology department and working alongside members of the Multi-disciplinary Team (MDT), to offer patient-centred care, implementing daily, meaningful activities which can support recovery.

You will be required to oversee the provision of the psychology service, as well as supporting the team in facilitating assessment and formulation interventions and psychology groups in collaboration with the team.

As a Lead Psychologist you will be:

You will be working in the male forensic services, which encompass medium and low secure care for service users. There will be opportunity to utilise a variety of therapeutic approaches to aid rehabilitation for individuals who have complex needs and require help to manage their internal processes in a safer way, whilst working towards rehabilitation. In particular the role will involve contribution towards our MDT team based DBT informed approach to treatment of men with acute mental illness.
Working as Trainee Psychologist in our team, you will have your own case load, under supervision and will support with conducting assessments and facilitating group and individual therapeutic sessions across the male services. Your responsibilities will include:

Are you an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist looking for a&nbsp;full time opportunity&nbsp;to be part of a supportive and experienced team providing Eating Disorder inpatient treatment for women?
Join Ty Glyn Ebbw, in Ebbw Vale, a specialist Inpatient Eating Disorder service for Women. You will be working as part of a wide MDT providing evidence-based and focused treatment programmes designed for the individual.
You will have experience in General Adult settings and have experience of working in a multidisciplinary team.&nbsp; You will also have experience of working within acute inpatient or community settings, ideally inpatient settings and have experience in risk assessment and risk management.

If you’re looking to progress your career and be part a new and exciting partnership venture between Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Trust (SABP) and Elysium Healthcare, while making a vital contribution to the lives of young people aged 13-18 with general mental health Tier 4 presentations including disordered eating.&nbsp; 
As a CYPMHS Consultant Psychiatrist employed by Elysium Healthcare but seconded to SABP through the hybrid clinical and operational model, you will deliver an evidence-based and focused treatment plan to support the children and young people, and their families, as they progress through their care plans to understand eating behaviours and restore physical health.&nbsp;
You will work alongside the talented and experienced multidisciplinary team to create tailored treatment programmes to support the individual needs of each young person within a warm and nurturing environment. This will allow you to understand symptoms, patterns and origins of psychological distress.&nbsp;
Your responsibilities will include:
<ul>
 <li>Reviewing referrals and determine appropriateness for admission</li>
 <li>Conducting admission assessments and maintain effective management plans of all young people on the unit</li>
 <li>Conducting risk assessments and review regularly</li>
 <li>Allocating specialist psychological treatments in line with individual needs</li>
 <li>Assessing physical health</li>
 <li>Ensuring effective liaison with referring teams</li>
 <li>Facilitating regular CPA review meeting</li>
 <li>Acting as Responsible Clinician for young people detained under the Mental Health Act</li>
 <li>Involvement in quality, inspections and governance processes</li>
</ul>
You will also be required to take part in the On Call Consultant rota.
To be successful in this role, you'll need
