You&nbsp;will provide a clinical service of specialist psychology assessments and interventions to a number of adult service users with&nbsp;acute mental health needs&nbsp;on the ward. You will also provide a specialist clinical perspective in relation to other service users with whom you might not be directly involved. Potters Bar uses a formulation driven and trauma informed model of care.
Reporting directly to the Lead Psychologist, you will be responsible for individual and group interventions, diagnostic and cognitive assessments, MDT working and risk assessments. You will also facilitate staff reflective practice sessions and be requested to design and deliver training.
As a Psychologist, you will have experience and knowledge in carrying a service user’s caseload, including assessing complex needs and designing and delivering specialist psychological treatments to support their care plans.&nbsp;&nbsp;

As a Psychologist you will be:

As a CYPMHS Consultant Psychiatrist employed by Elysium Healthcare but seconded to SABP through the hybrid clinical and operational model, you will deliver an evidence-based and focused treatment plan to support the children and young people, and their families, as they progress through their care plans to understand eating behaviours and restore physical health.&nbsp;
You will work alongside the talented and experienced multidisciplinary team to create tailored treatment programmes to support the individual needs of each young person within a warm and nurturing environment. This will allow you to understand symptoms, patterns and origins of psychological distress.&nbsp;

Join the team at Farmfield Hospital in Charlwood, Surrey as a 0.6FTE&nbsp;Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist.&nbsp;
You will be providing strategic leadership and expert psychiatric leadership and clinical oversight within forensic mental health services, acting as Responsible Clinician under the Mental Health Act and delivering high-quality, recovery-focused care to individuals involved with the criminal justice system.
As a Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist, you will take on RC responsibility for male service users on our medium secure wards. The RC will have the support of a non-consultant grade doctor as well as secretarial support.
Where you will be working:
Farmfield Hospital is a 64-bed secure unit with both MSU and LSU wards for male patients. The hospital is purpose built and run by the highly experienced Elysium Healthcare group. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our neurorehabilitation SLT team at Hillingdon Hospital. The role is primarily split between our acute Stroke Unit and Alderbourneneuro-rehabilitation ward. There will be opportunities to gain experience on the acute wards, as well as achieving Videofluoroscopy competencies and/or FEES competencies. The post holder will work as part of the SLT team and wider MDT and will be supported and supervised by a Highly Specialist SLT as well as the Clinical Lead SLT. You will have previous experience of the assessment and management of neurorehabilitation patients including dysphagia management and the development of communication therapy plans. Previous experience of videofluoroscopy and MDT training is desirable. You will have excellent interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills. <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
 You will receive regular clinical supervision, monthly CPD sessions, peer support and evidence-based practice sessions provided by our very supportive team. As a team we look to continually improve the service we provide; this role also offers opportunity for participating and leading on service development projects and outcome measures.
