This is a post within an established Mental Health Support Team in Luton. Your role will help to develop and deliver a wide range of interventions, projects and system changes, with the aim of the whole school and whole community approaches supporting young people's mental health. In addition to providing comprehensive consultation, assessment, risk management and interventions for young people experiencing emotional and mental health difficulties in schools, the post-holder will also clinically supervise colleagues. We welcome applicants who have experience of working or living in Central Bedfordshire or Luton.</p> <p>There is a national focus on increasing the reach of Mental Health Support Teams, with the aim of improving the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people in the community. The recently published NHS 10 Year Plan has an ambition to increase MHSTs' coverage to all schools by 2030. There is a specific focus on developing more access to help and aiding and improving the general culture of emotional support within all primary and secondary schools, including special educational provisions and PRUs. Working alongside community partners, the Mental Health Support Team will be fully integrated with community CAMHS and educational settings.</p>

  <p></p><p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to join 14 Arches, Staff Psychology &amp; Counselling; a psychology-led service offering psychological support to NHS staff working in Northamptonshire Healthcare Foundation Trust. The service is based in Northampton but provides support across sites where NHFT staff are based.</p>
<p>You would be joining an innovative and enthusiastic team of two principal psychologists and two experienced counsellors, supported by a clinical administrator. Psychologists within the service offer one-to-one consultations to colleagues, in which we explore an area of concern and help make sense of what is going on; we also offer support to teams and team leaders, consulting when there are difficulties and providing input to teams through structured activities and reflective practice.</p>
<p>We are looking for an innovative and dedicated clinician with a strong commitment to improving psychological wellbeing for NHS staff and an interest in using their skills in a range of individual and group interventions with staff. Strengths will be psychological formulation which draws on a range of models, and the ability to communicate and share psychological thinking with colleagues.   <p></p><p><strong>Are you a newly qualified/soon to qualify Psychological professional looking for a new role in adult mental health? Or someone Psychological professional wanting to develop your systemic therapy skills?</strong></p>
<p>We are recruiting a part-time <strong>Clinical/Counselling Psychologist</strong>or <strong>Psychological Therapist</strong> with training in Systemic Psychotherapy or willingness to train in systemic therapy, to provide psychological assessments and interventions for adults with severe and/or complex mental health problems, their families and carers. This role is <strong>part-time working 30 hours per week.</strong></p>
<p>We also welcome applications from Clinical/Counselling Psychologists, or Psychological Therapists who are due to qualify soon.</p>
<p>Our enthusiastic, skilled and supportive team provides a range of therapies. You would contribute to the work of the team by joining the highly valued family therapy clinic and undertaking group and individual therapy with people seeking formulation-based CBT for developmental trauma and other complex difficulties.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p></p><p>You should be able to demonstrate your use of evidence-based practice in specialist adult mental health settings, including competence in cognitive-behavioural and third wave approaches and systemic interventions. If not already accredited, you will be willing to work towards accreditation with an accrediting body such as BABCP and/or AFT for which you will be fully supported.</p>
<p>As a member of Specialist Psychological Therapies you will work closely with colleagues in our adult mental health community and in-patient teams. You will also liaise with and support psychological therapists working at earlier steps in the Buckinghamshire Psychological Therapies Pathway. You will work with the Clinical Lead, Locality Leads, Team Manager and your team to ensure that the Buckinghamshire Psychological Therapies Pathway achieves its key objectives of delivering integrated, safe, accessible, responsive, effective and caring services to people in Buckinghamshire. You will ensure the service you provide is of a high quality and meets national guidance as well as meeting local and nationally agreed targets.</p>
<p>Please note if you are based outside of the UK you will need to hold HCPC registration in order to be considered for this role. The ability to travel independently between sites within the Trust is essential for this role.</p>

Exceptions may apply depending on the child s needs.</li></ul> <p>Please note fostering requires you to register as self-employed.
