CBT Therapist - High Intensity (IAPT)

  <p>1 X Fixed Term Contract @ 30 hours per week</p> <p>1 x Permanent @ 30 hours per week</p> <p>This post is based in the experienced and established multidisciplinary Generic Team / LDND in Greenwich CAMHS.</p> <p>The CAMHS Practitioner role is responsible for supporting Greenwich CAMHS in implementing Directorate and Trust initiatives at service level and for playing a key role in monitoring and evaluating the quality of care delivered locally.</p> <p>The post holder must be a good team worker and be able to lead in areas of clinical practice and development and will be responsible for working independently and managing a caseload of clients, ensuring safe and effective clinical practices.</p> <p>The post holder will work within the multi-disciplinary team working with Children and young people with complex mental health presentations. The service operates from 8.30am-6pm Monday to Friday.</p>

  <p>This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and energetic Senior Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to work in the A &amp; E of Mental Health.   <p>The primary purpose of this role(s) is to offer
evidence based therapeutic interventions to children, young people and their
families (parents/carers). We are particularly interested in qualified
practitioners with 3 years post qualification experience, with a BACP/UKCP

Our Southend, Essex and Thurrock services cover 144 schools currently. We currently cover 48% of secondary and primary school within those areas.</p> <p>The MHST deliver evidence-based individual and group interventions in educational settings for children experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties aged 4 to 18 years old. The teams also have a strong focus on whole school approaches to improve mental health outcomes for children and young people.</p> <p>The MHSTs build on the support already in place from school counsellors, nurses, educational psychologists and the voluntary sector to support those with mild to moderate mental health issues in school and will help children and young people with more severe needs to access the right support and provide a link to the CAMHS services.</p>

<p>We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity to join our progressive and friendly radiotherapy team. Our department is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including Elekta Linear Accelerators and a Halcyon system with Ethos software--enabling the delivery of advanced adaptive radiotherapy.  We use CRAD SGRT throughout the department. We also operate a busy and well-established brachytherapy service, treating a range of prostate, gynaecological, and skin cancers. Imaging is supported by a Toshiba wide bore CT scanner.</p>
<p>This competency-based role offers flexibility and scope for development. You will have the opportunity to rotate through all key areas of the department--including CT, pre-treatment checking, treatment, and brachytherapy--or, if preferred, specialise in an area aligned with your experience and interests.</p>
<p>We are looking for individuals who can demonstrate a flexible and proactive approach to working. The role will include participation in shift patterns and extended hours to meet service capacity and patient demand. You will also be part of the departmental on-call rota and may be required to work weekends and Bank Holidays as part of our gap management strategy.</p>

We're equipped with Elekta Linacs and a brand-new Halcyon system featuring Ethos software, enabling us to deliver state-of-the-art adaptive radiotherapy. Our department also runs a busy and diverse brachytherapy service, treating prostate, gynaecological, and skin cancers, and we utilise a Toshiba wide bore CT scanner for precision imaging.</p> <p>As a Team Leader, you'll be responsible for guiding and managing a small team of Radiographers, Apprentice Radiographers, and Assistants (3-4 staff), ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our treatment or pre-treatment units.   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <ul>
<li>Lead by example in clinical documentation and accurate record-keeping for both treatment planning and delivery.</li>
<li>Be adaptable and flexible, working shifts or extended hours as needed to meet patient demand.</li>
<li>Participate in the on-call rota and be available for weekend and Bank Holiday coverage when required to support service continuity.</li>
<li>To be responsible for the daily efficient time management of the treatment unit workload and patient workload.</li>
<li>Implement departmental policies and procedures, participating in the development as required including proposing changes to practice. Initiate new policies to maintain or improve services to patients.</li>
<li>To organise, manage and delegate tasks and duties as required to maintain an effective patient-focussed service.</li>
<li>Ensure that radiotherapy treatments are precisely planned and delivered, with careful consideration of dosage, targeting, and patient positioning.</li>
