  <p>A position for a Band 7 Senior Therapist has arisen in our clinic in Medway. This post would suit newly qualified Psychologists or Psychotherapists, or an experienced clinician with a professional qualification such as Nurse or Social Worker with some additional recognised training such as CBT or DBT.</p>
  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>We offer assessment and treatment to children and young people aged 0-18 years with a wide range of presentations, mental health disorders, complexity and risk. You need to have experience working within a CAMHS service and be able to cope with a fast paced, ever changing environment, whilst responding appropriately to the young people and their families.</p>
<p>As a band 7 you will be expected to offer specific clinical supervision to junior staff, consultations to the wider team and provide specialist interventions to our clients.</p>

  <p><strong>Probationary Period</strong></p> <p>This post will be subject to a probationary period.   <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for a post-graduate qualified psychological practitioner (e.g. clinical psychologist, family therapist, child and adolescent psychotherapist, CBT practitioner) in the Ashford CYPMHS Team. To apply for this post you must be fully registered with the appropriate professional or regulatory body (e.g. HCPC, AFT, ACP, BABCP).</p>  <p>The post-holder will provide clinical interventions and assessment within their professional sphere of expertise in CYPMHS.   <p>NELFT's Kent &amp; Medway All Age Eating Disorders Service specialises in the assessment, diagnosis and NICE concordant treatment of young people and adults with Eating Disorders (Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder &amp; Otherwise Specified Feeding &amp; Eating Disorders). Additional pathways have been added to the Service with transformation monies including an Enhanced Care pathway and First Episode Rapid Early Intervention in Eating Disorders (FREED) and Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID).</p> <p>This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a multidisciplinary all age specialist Community Eating Disorder team. The team is committed to delivering the highest quality service to enable service users live the life they want.   <p>The All-Age Eating Disorder Service is based across the County of Kent at George Turle House, Canterbury, and The Courtyard, Maidstone, with Specialist support offered to the Kent and Medway Adolescent Hospital in Staplehurst. Geographically, we support the County of Kent and Medway, so the ability to travel is essential.</p> <p>You will need to be passionate about delivering high quality care to complex mental health service users and be innovative in your approach to helping us in developing new pathways within the NHS transformation agenda.</p> <p>Prospective post holders are encouraged to find out more about this exciting role.</p> <p>The successful applicant will support the team with duty and routine assessments, triages for patients where binge eating disorder or bulimia may be indicated at the point of referral. You will also support in the delivery of guided self help programmes, and CBT based interventions such as CBT-T and our First Stage of Treatment Programme.</p>

  <p>NELFT is the largest providers of Mental Health Support Teams (MHST's) in England.</p> <p>The MHST's deliver evidence-based individual and group interventions in educational settings for children experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties aged 5 to 18 years old. The teams also have a strong focus on whole school approaches to improve mental health outcomes for children and young people.</p>  <p>The South-WestEssex MHST covers a large geographical area including, Basildon,Brentwood and Billericay and Thurrock. We are an early intervention and prevention evidence-based service and as a team we are supportive and passionate in what we deliver.   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>We are looking for an experienced Mental Health Practitioner with a UK Professional Registration to join our MHST.</p> <p>In this post, you will be a senior clinical team member, holding a clinical caseload and supervising junior staff and trainee EMHPs.
