Established for over 30 years, they have provided services alongside a variety of statutory and voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) colleagues in Surrey and its boarders. They are currently looking for experienced Mental Health Support Workers to work within their Safe Haven sites in Woking and / or Guildford. Salary: £16.23ph Hours: 5 hour shifts (6pm - 11pm) Monday to Sunday (Ideally looking for 2 shifts per week) Company Benefits: 26 days annual leave pro rata (rising with service) + bank holidays + 1 extra days leave on your birthday, Pension, Access to Simply Health, Blended working, Employee discount programme and more Location Woking or Guildford This is a great opportunity to be part of a fantastic support centre. The Safe Haven provides an alternative for people who are currently attending A&amp;E when they suffer a mental health crisis, both in person and virtually. Additionally is provides a safety net for people who might otherwise get to crisis point. As part of a team you will support those visiting and risk assess those in mental health crisis. Utilise motivational interviewing techniques and active listening skills in order to support individuals and create safety plans for those experiencing suicidal ideation. You will also provide a continual assessment of a persons needs regarding their mental health and work collaboratively with partner agency staff to ensure continuity of care. This post is subject to a DBS check.
