Place2Be offers a variety of counselling trainings and qualifying courses to help build a mental health work force that can support children and young people.&nbsp;
Working as part of the Place2Be Postgraduate Diploma Tutor team, the post-holder will deliver and develop our very successful Post Graduate Diploma programme which is accredited by BACP and run in partnership with the University of East London.&nbsp;
This role will be responsible for the planning, delivery and evaluation of the Postgraduate training programme, and ensuring that students receive good quality training and support for the duration of their training.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Counsellors&nbsp;on Placement provide emotional and therapeutic support to children and young people aged 4-18 in Place2Be partner schools.  <li>Place2Be provides a high level of support to counsellors on placement through regular supervision, tailored training workshops and offers a well-recognised clinical placement*.</li>
 <li>We provide a comprehensive induction programme and clinical supervision is undertaken at the end of each day.</li>
 <li>We need you to be available for a minimum of one day per week to work in a therapeutic capacity with up to 3 children offering one-to-one counselling.</li>
 <li>Placements are term time only and run for one academic year. There are opportunities for you to stay with us beyond one year.</li>
 <li>You will have the opportunity to attend up to six optional workshops throughout the year which are recognised as continuing professional development time.</li>
 <li>Sessions spent with children are accepted as clinical hours towards professional accreditation, and are recognised by the BACP and UKCP.</li>

About Via in West Berkshire Launched in 2022, Via West Berkshire is a fully integrated substance use treatment service, providing clinical and psychosocial interventions, operating from a main treatment hub in Newbury. About the counselling service Our counselling service provides service users with the opportunity to meet in private with a counsellor for typically between 6 and 12 weekly, 50-minute sessions to discuss issues and concerns, which are currently making life difficult. Volunteer Counsellor

Apricus Resourcing are working with a leading drug addiction charity who are looking for a Substance Misuse Counsellor / Therapist (BACP/NCPS or UKCP Qualified) for a permanent position based in Halstead, Essex. This role is working full time with 37.5 hours per week, this would be 9:00 am-5:00pm ideally but start and finish times can possibly be brought forward or moved back if needed, one weekend is to be worked per month and days off would be moved to during the week of your choice, part time is sadly not possible. Within your role as a counsellor you will be expected to contribute to assessments of clients within agreed timescales, conduct regular reviews of the client with probation and health workers, counsel individuals about their substance use &amp; help individuals address their substance use and offending behaviour.
