COUNSELLOR
Start date: As soon as possible
G6:15 £16,703 – G6:18 £18,135 actual pro rata salary
Part-time: 24 hours per week, 39 weeks per year
We are seeking to make an appointment within the Pastoral Team to provide well-being support and counselling for our students who are aged between 11 and 18. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, patient, caring and well-qualified, holding a relevant professional qualification in Counselling at Diploma Level or higher and who has had previous experience in counselling in a similar setting.
The successful applicant will be able to work flexibly, demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills with young people, using their own initiative and work under pressure within a very successful pastoral team.
