Remote ADHD Psychologist

  <p>The post could be offered as a 30 hours per week or Job share depending on applicants and we may be able to offer full time hours for the right candidate.</p> <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic highly skilled and experienced practitioner psychologist to join our mental health services focusing on working with adults with psychosis. This is an exciting time to be joining the Trust as we are looking at improving our services for people experiencing psychosis and bipolar disorder and expanding the psychological provision in our teams.</p> <p>Working across a number of community teams you will provide expertise in both direct clinical work and leadership/supervision of teams in psychological approaches to care.</p> <p>This is a key clinical leadership role, working within teams and responsible for continuing to drive and embed the significant work already undertaken to develop services for people with psychosis across Gloucestershire.</p> <p>The post holder will be responsible for providing highly-specialist advice and consultancy to staff, teams, and patients with direct responsibility for the provision of psychological services within the teams, including supervision of assistants and trainees. They will also have a key role to play in service development and quality improvement across care pathways.</p>   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>This role covers teams based in Gloucester, Cheltenham and across the county. All reasonable flexible working requests will be considered, but the post holder will be expected to work across sites in line with service need.</p> <p>Our specialist mental health services work with adults with severe mental health problems. About 60% of the people we work with have experienced psychosis, and we aim to provide psychologically and trauma informed care and evidence based interventions including CBT-P and Family Therapy.</p> <p>In this role you will:</p> <p>Work as part of MDT's providing specialist psychological formulation, assessment and direct care.</p> <p>Provide supervision, reflective practice and consultation/advice to colleagues and teams,</p> <p>Contribute to quality improvement and service development, including research and development activities such as teaching.</p> <p>Leading workstreams on psychological approaches to care, and specifically working as a part of our developing psychosis pathways</p> <p>Line manage, supervise and support other psychological professionals, assistants and trainees.</p> <p><strong>The qualification, training &amp; experience requirements for the role are underlined in the Job Description/Person Specification.</strong></p>

  <p><strong>Art Psychotherapist - Band 7 - Forensic Intensive Recovery Support Team (FIRST)</strong></p> <p>We are looking for a 0.6 WTE Band 7 Art Psychotherapist to join the Forensic Intensive Recovery Support Team (FIRST), a specialist forensic community mental health team based in Rubery, South Birmingham and covering the West Midlands area. The aim of the service is to contribute to the successful transition of adult service users with significant risk histories and mental health difficulties out of secure inpatient services and support their continued recovery and risk management in the community.</p> <p>With our art therapist due to move onto a new role in the Trust shortly, we are keen to maintain art therapy provision in FIRST, as this has been highly valued within the service. The role within our vibrant community team includes delivering specialist art therapy assessments and interventions on an individual basis with service users, with the potential for facilitating group interventions too; providing specialist advice and consultation to multi-disciplinary colleagues; supporting the delivery of reflective practice for staff; and contributing to the ongoing development and evaluation of art therapy within FIRST and wider Secure Care.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>You will be joining our friendly Psychological Therapies team in FIRST, which includes practitioner psychologists, specialist psychological practitioner, assistant psychologists, all of whom have developed strong appreciation of the beneficial role art therapy can play in our service users' ongoing recovery.. You will be supported by the Head of Arts Psychotherapies within the Trust and have regular clinical supervision from an Art Psychotherapist.   <p><strong>Previous applicants need not reapply</strong></p> <p>This is an exciting opportunity for a trainee psychological therapist to join our newly integrated Community Mental Health team in South Warwickshire (To be confirmed). The successful candidate will be provided two years of CBT training, supervision and support in a welcoming and friendly service. Upon successful completion of the Post Graduate qualification, you will be able to take up a post of CBT therapist. The training will focus on psychosis and bipolar but will also cover the wider spectrum of difficulties supported by Adult Community Mental Health services.</p> <p>This role is a 2-year fixed term appointment during which time the post-holder will complete a postgraduate diploma programme in CBT for psychosis and bipolar disorder. It will lead to a permanent band 7 psychological therapist post at the end of this period if the postgraduate diploma programme is completed successfully.</p> <p>Applicants will need the academic confidence to work at post graduate level and to be able to travel to Hull for four study blocks of a week at a time. Training capacity and opportunities may mean the post holder will work in different localities within CWPT during their two-year training. </p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The post-holder will work to provide formal psychological interventions whilst undertaking a programme of training for this role. This intensive training post will equip the post-holder to provide a CBT service to service users with a range of complex presentations including psychosis and bipolar for which CBT is demonstrated to be clinically effective. The post-holder will be seconded to NHS Talking Therapies for 2 days a week in their first year and will work in the CMHT for 2 days of the week developing skills and experience in working with complexity. The post holder will work in the CMHT (Psychosis pathway) for 4 days a week in the second year. The post holder will attend the training programme for the other day each week.</p>

With 100 critical care beds across four units, this is a unique chance to work in a fast-paced, clinically rich environment. This role is ideal for a Dietitian looking to develop their clinical expertise, leadership capabilities, and service development skills within a supportive and forward-thinking team.</p><p>You'll work closely with the Clinical Lead Dietitian and other Band 7 Specialist Critical Care Dietitians, supported by two Band 6 colleagues. You'll also be an integral part of a large, multidisciplinary critical care team that highly values the dietetic contribution.</p><p>The post offers an excellent opportunity to be involved with research, audit and presenting at conferences nationally and internationally.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>This post is based on the Surgical Critical Care Unit. You'll have the chance to work closely with liver transplant patients, as well as those undergoing hepatobiliary surgery, upper gastrointestinal (UGI) procedures, and complex gastro surgeries. This is a fantastic environment for anyone passionate about making a real impact in critical care, learning from cutting-edge surgical practices, and being part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team.</p><p>This post involves the nutritional management of highly complex patients requiring a range of therapeutic diets, oral nutritional supplements, and advanced enteral feeding via multiple routes, including nasogastric (NG), nasojejunal (NJ), percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG), radiologically inserted gastrostomy (RIG), and jejunostomy (JEJ). Demonstrated clinical experience in managing complex enteral feeding is essential for this role</p><p>QEHB is a major trauma centre, and the trauma teams work closely with the critical care teams and they also have a strong working partnership with the royal centre of defence medicine to treat both military and civilian patients. The critical care unit is also a specialist provider with a wide range of disciplines including cardiothoracic surgery, renal, burns, liver, major trauma, neurosurgery, transplant etc. This post will give you the opportunity to develop a highly specialist dietetic service, alongside the other specialist dietitians and clinical lead for critical care.</p>
