  <p>The CYP Eating Disorders Day Hospital Service is currently mobilising. This specialist provision delivers intensive, evidence-based care to children &amp; young people experiencing moderate to severe eating disorders. This innovative service aims to bridge the gap between inpatient and community care, offering a safe and structured alternative to Tier 4 admission &amp; facilitating earlier discharge from hospital settings.</p>
<p>Operating through a MDT working collaboratively to provide holistic, person-centred care, each professional brings their expertise to support physical health monitoring, nutritional rehabilitation, psychosocial interventions &amp; occupational engagement, all tailored to the unique needs of each young person &amp; their family.</p>

<li><strong>In-reach and Outreach support</strong> to prevent unnecessary hospital admissions &amp; reduce relapse.</li>

  <p><strong>Are you committed to making a positive change and empowering service users to achieve a better quality of life?</strong></p> <p>We are currently recruiting for an experienced Assessment &amp; Engagement Worker to work with service users and multi-agency team members in an essential liaison role. </p> <p>This full time, permanent position will focus on drawing in local community assets to support the delivery of recovery focussed outcomes, promoting and creating opportunities in visible recovery, harm reduction and brief interventions in the hub reception areas. </p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <ul>
<li>Work as an integral part of the service in delivering high quality interventions within the hub.</li>
<li>Work with and support the Inclusion multi-disciplinary team </li>
<li>Facilitate harm reduction interventions</li>
<li>Supporting service users who are attending the reception area of the service.</li>
<li>Contributing to service users working collaboratively to build their recovery capital and ensuring positive recovery outcomes.</li>
<li>Ensuring service users have scheduled appointments and remove barriers to attendance.</li>
<li>Supervising recovery supporter volunteers.</li>
<li>Promoting visible recovery in the hub, especially in reception areas. </li>
<li>Reducing drug and alcohol related harm to service users and the wider community</li>
<li>Ensuring that your work is evidence based, up to date and in accordance with current policy and legislation. </li>
<li>Ensuring the reception environment is welcoming and accessible. </li>
