  <p>MFT CAMHS Emerge 16-17 CMHT offer developmentally appropriate accessible and young person centred mental health services to young people aged 16 and 17 years, who live in Manchester Salford and Trafford. Under supervision the post holder will manage a caseload and provide a range of high quality care appropriate to the young person's needs which will include; mental state assessment, risk assessment and management, family and social assessment, consultation and evidence based interventions. The post holder will have a range of mental health and engagement skills and knowledge to deliver care in line with trust values from with in a multi-disciplinary team setting.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>To undertake initial assessment with young people in a holistic and young person-centred way, including gathering of appropriate information from the child / young person, their family and from other relevant agencies</p>
<p>following assessment, to develop a formulation and plan for intervention, In partnership with the young person and those in their support net work and communicating this to the referrer and other relevant professionals.</p>
<p>d  Under Supervision to assist with duty activity, offering telephone support, liaison and consultation services to young people and relevant professionals</p>
<p>To liaise with a range of other statutory and voluntary / 3rd sector professionals working in other young peoples services</p>
<p>i.    To co-work cases managed by other members of the multi disciplinary team.</p>
<p>j.    To work from a multi agency perspective in liaison with other professionals</p>
<p>To attend and contribute to professional meetings.</p>
<p>To keep accurate, timely and thorough records of care provided to all patients, including the compilation of appropriate statistics.</p>
<p>To provide written reports as required and within timescale</p>

You should have a real interest in helping people with anxiety and depression to achieve a level of recovery which will improve their overall wellbeing and day to day life. You will offer treatment through different modalities: face to face, telephone, groups and cCBT. As a trainee PWP we will look at continuously developing your skills by offering a further 4 training days which are based on identified training requirements. Previous training has included OCD for step 2 and Long Term Health Conditions. As a service we are always looking to approach the local community to offer wider access to the service and as part of this you can be involved in promoting the service which can include presentations, drop in clinics and specialised event days which can be an exciting way to engage with the community and widen your signposting knowledge.
Warrington Talking Therapies offers exciting opportunities for trainee PWPs such as weekly buddy time where you have regular peer support in addition to weekly case management supervision and fortnightly group clinical skills supervision. Staff also have twice monthly catch ups with time set aside for socialising and wellbeing in the monthly team meeting and their Step 2 Meeting.
 
About the role
The post holder will work within the service, whilst undertaking a programme of training at John Moores University, where they will progressively learn how to deliver low intensity interventions, at high volume, with patients with anxiety and depression. You will receive excellent support in the role including extensive clinical and caseload supervision.
 
You will offer a range of effective treatment and support available to people with common mental health problems such as depression and anxiety and extend this support to provide psychological intervention services to adults with an intellectual/learning disability who have concurrent common mental health problems.
 
The post holder will split their time between university attendance and working in service, conducting assessments, and providing face to face and remote Low Intensity Interventions.
Please note: It is a requirement of the role, that successful candidates seek BABCP accreditation within 6 months of relevant patient contact and qualifying.
 
 
About you
You will have experience of working with Mental Health and will be able to inspire and engage people and have the ability to identify barriers and understand client needs, while possessing excellent motivational skills.
 
You will have an understanding of working with people with a variety of complex needs, and experience of working with mental health, physical health, learning needs and substance misuse issues would be an advantage for this post. Your knowledge of working within a community-based service is essential and will have equipped you with the relevant communication and interpersonal skills required to build good therapeutic relationships with clients
 
You will be able to demonstrate high standards in written communication as well as excellent verbal communication including telephone skills. Warrington Talking Therapies offers exciting opportunities for trainee PWPs such as weekly buddy time where you have regular peer support in addition to weekly case management supervision and fortnightly group clinical skills supervision. Staff also have twice monthly catch ups with time set aside for socialising and wellbeing in the monthly team meeting and their Step 2 Meeting.
 
About the role
The post holder will work within the service, whilst undertaking a programme of training at John Moores University, where they will progressively learn how to deliver low intensity interventions, at high volume, with patients with anxiety and depression. You will receive excellent support in the role including extensive clinical and caseload supervision.
 
You will offer a range of effective treatment and support available to people with common mental health problems such as depression and anxiety and extend this support to provide psychological intervention services to adults with an intellectual/learning disability who have concurrent common mental health problems.
 
The post holder will split their time between university attendance and working in service, conducting assessments, and providing face to face and remote Low Intensity Interventions.
Please note: It is a requirement of the role, that successful candidates seek BABCP accreditation within 6 months of relevant patient contact and qualifying.
 
 
About you
You will have experience of working with Mental Health and will be able to inspire and engage people and have the ability to identify barriers and understand client needs, while possessing excellent motivational skills.
 
You will have an understanding of working with people with a variety of complex needs, and experience of working with mental health, physical health, learning needs and substance misuse issues would be an advantage for this post. Your knowledge of working within a community-based service is essential and will have equipped you with the relevant communication and interpersonal skills required to build good therapeutic relationships with clients
 
You will be able to demonstrate high standards in written communication as well as excellent verbal communication including telephone skills. You will also be able to evaluate and put in place the skills and knowledge that you are provided as part of the training and development opportunities included in this role.
 
It is essential that you hold a health-related degree. Training in nursing, social work, occupational therapy or within a psychological therapy would be desirable.

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>As an autonomous practitioner you will play a key part in the delivery of high-quality service provision that promotes and improves the mental health and well-being of children and young people, their families and carers. Managing a complex caseload within the multi-disciplinary team setting, the post holder will provide a range of high-quality care appropriate to the child or young person's needs which will include full mental health assessment, risk assessment and management, family and social assessment, consultation and therapeutic interventions.</p>
<p>Within a systemic and holistic framework, you will undertake needs led, evidence based, highly skilled assessments and provide therapeutic interventions, ensuring this is done evidencing shared decision making and partnership working with children and young people, their families and carers.</p>
<p>You will provide advice, information, consultation and supervision within the service and externally within your specialist area.</p>
<p>As part of working together you will actively liaise with and support robust partnership working arrangements between the CAMHS team and community partners and other key stakeholders involved with the child across agencies that work within the Child and Adolescent Mental Health THRIVE framework.</p>
<p>This is a clinical post and the expectation of time management is the majority of time will be spent in actual practice.</p>

CAMHS Mental Health Practitioner - Duty and Assessment

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>The Trusted Relationships Service has grown from strength to strength since the original Home Office funding in 2018. We have now secured 3 more year of funding and we are looking for two enthusiastic, independent, clinicians to come and work alongside our other 8 clinicians, for 2 days a week.</p>
<p>This is non-case holding post, clinicians do not have any direct patient contact.</p>
<p>Instead, you will work with Police and Social care staff to support their work safeguarding children who are at risk of extrafamilial abuse and exploitation. Based within the Complex Safeguarding teams, across Greater Manchester, the Trusted Relationships clinicians work with staff to facilitate psychological awareness, particularly in relation to trauma, by offering case-based consultation, staff support and bespoke-training.</p>
<p>The Trusted Relationships Service is a team within the GM Resilience Hub, and consequently clinicians have access to a range of expertise and CPD opportunities.</p>

  <p>Trusted Relationships clinicians are generally based in Police stations, offering a face to face service to Complex Safeguarding staff.</p> <p>There are three key areas of service delivery:</p> <ul>  <li>case-based consultation, offering psychological formulations to help staff understand any number of different factors influencing the children and families they are supporting and how this might impact their relationships and approach to safeguarding.</li>  <li>bespoke training and workshops to teams and sometimes to staff across the wider complex safeguarding workforce</li>  <li>staff support, this can be one-to-one or in a group format but is developed in collaboration with the staff to meet their needs.</li> </ul> <p>There are times when Trusted Relationship's clinicians my need to offer support to teams who have experienced a critical incident, however, this is done in collaboration with Clinical Lead and with the back up of the GM Resilience Hub.</p> <p>Please see the Job Description for more details.</p>

  <p>We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Clinical Psychologist to join our developing Neighbourhood Mental Health Team (NMHT) in Wigan (previously called Living Well).</p> <p>Wigan Community Mental Health services are going through an exciting period of change in line with Community Transformation. The NMHT is friendly, supportive and innovative integrated secondary care team. The Neighbourhood population are often a cohort of people who are often perceived as not suitable, too complicated for the current structures or fall though the gaps.</p> <p>We are values driven and use our values to guide our decision making.   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>You will increase the levels of psychological support and care provided to people who access the service. You will provide psychological assessment, formulation and brief interventions/groups to people supported by the NMHT. You will also offer supervision, consultation, training and reflective practice groups to support all staff to work in a psychologically-informed way. As the NMHT is a developing and changing service, there will be ongoing opportunities for service development, audit and evaluation.</p> <p>There will be opportunity for the role to be developed by the successful candidate to fit the needs of the Wigan population. You will be supported by the team Principal Clinical Psychologist and NMHT Management team.
