  <p>Applications are invited for a Clinical / Applied Psychologist or Accredited Psychological Therapist. You will be an integral member of the Mid and North Hampshire Division's psychological therapies team. The post will be based in Basingstoke CMHT. Applicants should have a desire to embrace MDT working, training and team development. This post offers the opportunity to influence best clinical practice and the development of a psychologically informed and recovery focused CMHT.</p><p>We are seeking an enthusiastic clinician who has specialist interest and experience in working psychologically with trauma. The post holder will provide specialist psychological assessment and therapy individually and through group programmes as well as offering advice, consultation, reflective practice, clinical formulation and training to staff within the multidisciplinary teams. Evaluation of interventions and the impact of the service in terms of benefit to clients is an important component of what we strive to do. The post holder will require specialist knowledge and experience in the application of at least one psychological therapy (CBT, DBT, CAT).</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The Mid and North Hampshire Psychological Therapies Team is a thriving active team of psychologists and psychological therapists working within primary care, secondary care, EIP and acute and crisis teams. We are dedicated to delivering superb quality, evidence-based interventions. We pride ourselves on contributing to the development and implementation of innovative interventions. The range of psychologically focused therapies we deliver include Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), and EMDR. This is a new post, and the post holder will join an established psychological therapies team, with access to high quality supervision and support.</p><p>The Trust has strong links with Southampton University, particularly with the Doctoral Programme in Clinical Psychology, the MSc/Diploma in Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy for Severe Mental Health Problems and training courses for IAPT.   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The Advanced STR worker will support custody practitioners in conducting triaging and screenings in custody and escalating to a practitioner if acute risk or complex needs are present. They will also be responsible in supporting the wider STR workforce with advice and clinical support across the Hampshire criminal justice systems.</p>
<p>Working pattern + Service operating hours</p>
<p>The role is flexible across the Hampshire area according to locality and custody/court need, so the candidate is required to have flexibility to travel to localities across Hampshire as per roster. The advanced STR worker may also hold a small caseload of complex service users to support their engagement with community services, this may include such services as drug and alcohol. You will be able to work independently on this caseload and therefore must have good time management skills.</p>

Advanced Support Time Recovery (STR) Worker

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>To provide a qualified specialist psychological service to clients of the community mental health team; to provide specialist psychological assessment, psychological interventions and therapy; to provide supervision and consultation on client's psychological care to non-psychologist colleagues and to other, non-professional carers; to work autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the teams policies and procedures; to utilise research skills for audit, policy and service development, and research in line with service need; to undertake a personal research and development programme and contribute to a research culture in the clinical team.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>To provide high quality specialised psychological input to people/clients who fall within the acceptance criteria of the SHFT CMHT Community Mental Health Team</p><p>To provide specialist psychological assessment and treatment to people in this setting</p><p>A recovery focused approach is essential including working with others involved in clients care (e.g. family, professionals).</p><p>To offer advice, consultation and supervision on clients psychological care to other members of the multi-disciplinary team. To facilitate awareness of systemic factors involved in repeated crises for clients.</p><p>To contribute to audit, service development and research within the area served.</p><p>To provide teaching and training in line with the service needs identified.</p>
