  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>To assume responsibility for management of a defined caseload and exercise the highest standards of professional responsibility for the assessment, treatment and discharge of children, young people and their families/carers using specialist knowledge and evaluation of care programmes in collaboration with children, young people and their families/carers, liaising with and referring to relevant agencies.</p> <p>To participate in a duty rota including receipt and screening of referrals, obtaining further information if needed and responding promptly to emergency requests for assessments or contact, signposting, and advice.</p> <p>To undertake assessment of children, young people including risk assessment, gathering appropriate information their family/ carers and other relevant agencies</p> <p>To develop a formulation and plan for intervention with the child, young person and parents/carers. The post is based at Pendle House, Nelson, East Lancashire Eating Disorder Team. The team is part of the All Age Eating Disorder Service which covers Lancashire and South Cumbria and has close links with our other locality teams based in the Bay (Lancaster and South Cumbria), Fylde Coast, Central and West Lancashire providing multi-disciplinary specialist care for people who have an eating disorder. You will be joining a dynamic multi-disciplinary team of professionals with a passion for working with people who have eating disorders including psychological therapists, systemic family therapist, specialist mental health nurses, specialist dietitian and medical professionals.</p>   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>You will be joining the team at an exciting time of real development as the service works together to improve services for people who have an eating disorder. You will benefit from working with an enthusiastic, hardworking and supportive team who are committed to delivering high quality NICE compliant psychological therapies to people of all ages with an eating disorder. The post holder will receive regular supervision and professional support from either a psychologist or CBT therapist. The service is committed to training and development of staff and you would be supported to access training in eating disorder specific CBT models, if required.</p>
<p>The successful candidate will be expected to deliver low intensity CBT interventions mainly focused on the eating disorder. Interventions will be offered in both 1:1 and group formats.</p>
<p>Applications will be welcome from suitably qualified Associate Psychological Practitioners, who have completed the Postgraduate Diploma Associate Psychological Practitioner (PGDip APP).</p>

Qualified Psychologist - 9-12 month FTC

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>The Trusted Relationships Service has grown from strength to strength since the original Home Office funding in 2018. We have now secured 3 more year of funding and we are looking for two enthusiastic, independent, clinicians to come and work alongside our other 8 clinicians, for 2 days a week.</p>
<p>This is non-case holding post, clinicians do not have any direct patient contact.</p>
<p>Instead, you will work with Police and Social care staff to support their work safeguarding children who are at risk of extrafamilial abuse and exploitation. Based within the Complex Safeguarding teams, across Greater Manchester, the Trusted Relationships clinicians work with staff to facilitate psychological awareness, particularly in relation to trauma, by offering case-based consultation, staff support and bespoke-training.</p>
<p>The Trusted Relationships Service is a team within the GM Resilience Hub, and consequently clinicians have access to a range of expertise and CPD opportunities.</p>

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>The Trusted Relationships Service has grown from strength to strength since the original Home Office funding in 2018. We have now secured 3 more year of funding and we are looking for two enthusiastic, independent, clinicians to come and work alongside our other 8 clinicians, for 2 days a week.</p>
<p>This is non-case holding post, clinicians do not have any direct patient contact.</p>
<p>Instead, you will work with Police and Social care staff to support their work safeguarding children who are at risk of extrafamilial abuse and exploitation. Based within the Complex Safeguarding teams, across Greater Manchester, the Trusted Relationships clinicians work with staff to facilitate psychological awareness, particularly in relation to trauma, by offering case-based consultation, staff support and bespoke-training.</p>
<p>The Trusted Relationships Service is a team within the GM Resilience Hub, and consequently clinicians have access to a range of expertise and CPD opportunities.</p>

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>The Trusted Relationships Service has grown from strength to strength since the original Home Office funding in 2018. We have now secured 3 more year of funding and we are looking for two enthusiastic, independent, clinicians to come and work alongside our other 8 clinicians, for 2 days a week.</p>
<p>This is non-case holding post, clinicians do not have any direct patient contact.</p>
<p>Instead, you will work with Police and Social care staff to support their work safeguarding children who are at risk of extrafamilial abuse and exploitation. Based within the Complex Safeguarding teams, across Greater Manchester, the Trusted Relationships clinicians work with staff to facilitate psychological awareness, particularly in relation to trauma, by offering case-based consultation, staff support and bespoke-training.</p>
<p>The Trusted Relationships Service is a team within the GM Resilience Hub, and consequently clinicians have access to a range of expertise and CPD opportunities.</p>

  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>Trusted Relationships clinicians are generally based in Police stations, offering a face to face service to Complex Safeguarding staff.</p> <p>There are three key areas of service delivery:</p> <ul>  <li>case-based consultation, offering psychological formulations to help staff understand any number of different factors influencing the children and families they are supporting and how this might impact their relationships and approach to safeguarding.</li>  <li>bespoke training and workshops to teams and sometimes to staff across the wider complex safeguarding workforce</li>  <li>staff support, this can be one-to-one or in a group format but is developed in collaboration with the staff to meet their needs.</li> </ul> <p>There are times when Trusted Relationship's clinicians my need to offer support to teams who have experienced a critical incident, however, this is done in collaboration with Clinical Lead and with the back up of the GM Resilience Hub.</p> <p>Please see the Job Description for more details.</p>



  <h3>About us</h3>
  <p>The Trusted Relationships service requires highly specialist clinicians to work with a significant degree of autonomy and independence and have good levels of personal organisation. However, given the complex-nature of the work and the potential for regular exposure to traumatic material there are a lot of opportunities for support and CPD. The team has regular face-to-face and online team meetings, individual supervisions and line management, a buddy-system and also monthly Compassion-Focused Staff Support and CAT-informed supervision.  </p>

  <p>Trusted Relationships clinicians are generally based in Police stations, offering a face to face service to Complex Safeguarding staff.</p> <p>There are three key areas of service delivery:</p> <ul>  <li>case-based consultation, offering psychological formulations to help staff understand any number of different factors influencing the children and families they are supporting and how this might impact their relationships and approach to safeguarding.</li>  <li>bespoke training and workshops to teams and sometimes to staff across the wider complex safeguarding workforce</li>  <li>staff support, this can be one-to-one or in a group format but is developed in collaboration with the staff to meet their needs.</li> </ul> <p>There are times when Trusted Relationship's clinicians my need to offer support to teams who have experienced a critical incident, however, this is done in collaboration with Clinical Lead and with the back up of the GM Resilience Hub.</p> <p>Please see the Job Description for more details.</p>

  <p>The Trusted Relationships service requires highly specialist clinicians to work with a significant degree of autonomy and independence and have good levels of personal organisation. However, given the complex-nature of the work and the potential for regular exposure to traumatic material there are a lot of opportunities for support and CPD. The team has regular face-to-face and online team meetings, individual supervisions and line management, a buddy-system and also monthly Compassion-Focused Staff Support and CAT-informed supervision.  </p>
