  <p><strong></strong> </p><p>We are looking for a <strong>compassionate, motivated, and skilled professional</strong> to join us as a <strong>Mental Health Practitioner</strong>. You`ll be passionate about improving mental health outcomes for children and young people, <strong>thrive in collaborative environments</strong>, and be ready to make a real difference in educational settings. This role is remote with occasional travel. All interventions with children, young people &amp; families will be delivered remotely.</p> <p><strong>Essential Criteria</strong></p> <ul>  <li>Hold a relevant qualification such as EMHP, CYP IAPT, Registered Social Worker, or Registered Mental Health Nurse.</li>  <li>&nbsp;Proven ability to deliver 1:1 therapeutic interventions with children, families, and groups, including parenting programs.</li>  <li>Experience conducting mental health assessments, evaluating risks, and taking appropriate action.</li>  <li>Strong knowledge of safeguarding, educational environments, and capacity and consent issues, including Gillick competence.</li>  <li>Experience supporting children with social, emotional, or behavioural difficulties, anxiety, and mood disorders.</li>  <li>Exceptional communication and organisational skills, with a self motivated, team focused approach.</li> </ul> <p>Additional qualifications such as a teaching degree, Youth Mental Health First Aid training, or an advanced degree are welcomed but not essential.   <p></p><p>The Podiatry Service at Wirral Community Health and Care NHS Foundation NHS Trust (WCHC) has an exciting opportunity for dynamic, motivated and enthusiastic newly/recently qualified podiatrists to join our committed and friendly team. </p> <p>As a newly/recently qualified podiatrist you will be supported by our experienced team of podiatrists, podiatry assistants and admin support staff. Together we will build on the experience and knowledge you have already gained to enable you to safely assess and treat a wide range of complex podiatry conditions for patients with a variety of other clinical needs, including: acute or chronic, neuropathies, chronic diseases, vascular problems, wound management and nail surgery.</p>

We work closely with our local acute Trust to support their high-risk diabetic out-patient clinics and there will be opportunities to shadow and develop your skills in this area. We also manufacture our own insoles using state of the art CAD-CAM technology and pressure mapping technology as well as developing new pathways and services to improve patient experience and outcomes.</p> <p>Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council as a podiatrist (or on qualification), you will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with GPs and other healthcare professionals. Good IT skills are essential as the role requires working across a range of clinical systems. </p> <p>We will provide a fully structured induction programme and weactively support CPD and personal development for all staff and we will provide opportunities to develop within the role.</p> <p>The Podiatry Service is delivered from a number of community clinics, GP practices as well as nursing homes and domiciliary settings across Wirral, therefore you must have access to your own transport for work purposes. </p> <p>Wirral has excellent transport links to North Wales, Liverpool, Manchester, as well as the historic city of Chester. </p>

  <p></p><p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to work in the Hull Children in Care Team.  We are seeking to employ a qualified clinical or counselling psychologist who has experience in the assessment, formulation and therapy of children and young people with histories of trauma. We would encourage clinical/counselling psychologists who are wanting to progress to 8a to apply for the post. The Clinical Psychologist will join a committed LAC Service within Hull CLA CAMHS consisting of dramatherapy, art therapy, social worker and clinical psychologists.</p>
<p>This is an exciting time to be joining the service due to the transformational work with the vision of becoming trauma informed and developing the AMBIT framework work across CAMHS pathways.</p>
<p>Progression from band 7 to band 8a is subject to the post holder being able to evidence that they have met all criteria required for the role. It is expected that in order for the post holder to progress that they would have successfully completed the ISW training, have had experience supervising trainee psychologists and other professionals; have received post qualification training in an area relevant to this role, have led on consultations and are able to work with increasingly complex presentations (as available within the role). If the post holder already has significant band 7 post qualification experience, then the progression time period may be reduced.</p>

  <p></p><p>The CYP Eating Disorders Day Hospital Service is currently mobilising. This specialist provision delivers intensive, evidence-based care to children &amp; young people experiencing moderate to severe eating disorders. This innovative service aims to bridge the gap between inpatient and community care, offering a safe and structured alternative to Tier 4 admission &amp; facilitating earlier discharge from hospital settings.</p> <p>Operating through a MDT working collaboratively to provide holistic, person-centred care, each professional brings their expertise to support physical health monitoring, nutritional rehabilitation, psychosocial interventions &amp; occupational engagement, all tailored to the unique needs of each young person &amp; their family.</p> <ul>  <li><strong>In-reach and Outreach support</strong> to prevent unnecessary hospital admissions &amp; reduce relapse.</li>  <li><strong>Intensive day hospital interventions</strong> focused on recovery, risk management, &amp; re-engagement with daily life.</li>  <li><strong>Meal support and psychoeducation</strong> for young people &amp; their families, promoting sustainable recovery at home.</li>  <li><strong>Multidisciplinary care planning and supervision</strong>, ensuring continuity &amp; quality of care across settings.</li>  <li><strong>Training and consultation</strong> to professionals and carers, enhancing system-wide understanding and support for eating disorders. </li> </ul> <p></p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p></p><ul>  <li>To provide specialist occupational therapy service to children &amp; young people with eating disorders.</li>  <li>To undertake comprehensive assessments of each patients needs to formulate individualised management &amp; treatment plans.</li>  <li>To provide specialist advice to patients with eating disorders deemed to be a high physical risk. To be aware of &amp; be able to identify patients at high physical risks, including the risk of refeeding syndrome &amp; provide appropriate nutritional advice regarding the management of risk together with liaison with the MDT regarding the management of risk in these patients, linking with medical and dietetic colleagues in the other Eating Disorders teams &amp; with acute medical services as necessary.</li>  <li>Deliver a range of non-pharmacological interventions following specific Occupational Therapy assessments to enable understanding of any expression of an unmet need &amp; to maximise an individual's abilities.</li>  <li>Complete and contribute to robust risk assessments &amp; risk management plans.</li>  <li>Utilise agreed outcome measures as part of the care planning &amp; evaluation process.</li> </ul> <p></p>
