<p>CAS is a number of Mental Health Support Team (MHST) established following the government Green Paper: Transforming Children &amp; Young People's Mental Health Provision. The service is undergoing expansion and restructuring.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The three core functions of a Mental Health Support Team (MHST) are:</p>

<li>Delivering evidence-based interventions for children and young people (CYP) with mild-to-moderate mental health problems.</li>
<li>Supporting the senior mental health lead in each education setting to introduce, develop and deliver the whole school/college approach.</li>
<li>Giving timely advice to school and college staff, and liaising with external specialist services, to help CYP to get the right support and stay in education.</li>

<p>The role involves delivering all three MHST functions.   <p>OpCourage, the community veterans mental health service in the South West, is seeking a Band 7 Psychologist or Psychological Therapist to join our dedicated team in the Plymouth and Paignton.   <p>The post holder will provide face-to-face, evidence-based psychological therapy at an AWP/NHS site or other community setting in the Plymouth and Paignton area. Psychological therapy will also be offered to veterans in our wider geographical area via an online platform; both modes support consistent access to care and treatment.</p>

An opportunity has arisen for a qualified counsellor Band 5 or Band 6 to join the Lincolnshire Talking Therapies service based in Spalding although you may also be required to cover alternative bases to meet service need. The Service provides evidence-based interventions within a stepped care model, treating people with mild to moderate common mental health problems.   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be able to work within a team environment and be thoroughly conversant with the use of clinical systems.</p> <p>The Band 5 counsellor will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team providing counselling for depression. The post holder will be expected to hold a clinical caseload and will be provided with clinical supervision. The service will provide the relevant training to acquire a qualification in a Talking Therapies modality of PCE-CfD.</p> <p>To acquire the Band 6 post the candidate will need to continue to hold a caseload, be accredited with a professional body, complete and pass a qualification in a Talking Therapy modality PCE-CfD. They will be responsible in providing clinical supervision to counselling colleagues.</p>
