Having gained further funding to expand the team, we are looking to recruit a number of Trainee Education Mental Health Practitioners (TEMHPs). ). These positions within the Team will be Development Posts and subject to completion and passing of your training period, as agreed through your current University. After successful completion you will progress to Pay Band 5. This has been driven from the Green Paper (2017) to transform Young Peoples Mental Health by focussing on early intervention.</p><p>Candidates will be offered a Health Education England (HEE) funded place to train at the University of Sheffield, in delivering Low Intensity Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (LI- CBT) evidence-based early interventions, and Whole Setting Approach initiatives (WSA) within education settings.</p><p>Candidates will work within a clinical team to ensure mild to moderate mental health and emotion wellbeing support is provided.

You will be joining a dynamic multi-disciplinary team of professionals with a passion for working with people who have eating disorders including psychological therapists, systemic family therapist, specialist mental health nurses, specialist dietitian and medical professionals.</p>   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>You will be joining the team at an exciting time of real development as the service works together to improve services for people who have an eating disorder. You will benefit from working with an enthusiastic, hardworking and supportive team who are committed to delivering high quality NICE compliant psychological therapies to people of all ages with an eating disorder. The post holder will receive regular supervision and professional support from either a psychologist or CBT therapist. The service is committed to training and development of staff and you would be supported to access training in eating disorder specific CBT models, if required.</p>
<p>The successful candidate will be expected to deliver low intensity CBT interventions mainly focused on the eating disorder. Interventions will be offered in both 1:1 and group formats.</p>
<p>Applications will be welcome from suitably qualified Associate Psychological Practitioners, who have completed the Postgraduate Diploma Associate Psychological Practitioner (PGDip APP).</p>

  <p>This position has been introduced to enable flexible delivery within a portfolio of courses, and where appropriate, across portfolios. It aims to facilitate the post holder in implementing a wide range of skills within an integrated post. At senior level, the post holder will be required to undertake a leadership role in relation to an aspect of course delivery, in this instance, the assessment component of the MA in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy (M58), which is accredited by the British Psychoanalytic Council. The post holder will work flexibly across a range of programmes to provide teaching, supervision and tuition to master's and where appropriate, doctoral students, as required. The post holder will also be involved in recruitment and assessment processes and will assist flexibly in all aspects of course delivery within the portfolio and other portfolios where relevant.</p> <p><strong>Portfolio Information</strong></p> <p>The MA in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy (M58) is situated within the DET Psychoanalytic Portfolio.   <p><strong>Overview and main duties of the post</strong></p> <p>The position of Psychodynamic Psychotherapist has been introduced to enable flexible delivery within a portfolio of courses, and where appropriate, across portfolios. It aims to facilitate the post holder in implementing a wide range of skills within an integrated post.   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>You will be a registered staff nurse and have excellent assessment, planning and evaluation skills to ensure that patient care is timely and appropriate.
You will have the opportunity to work closely with patients, families, and a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes. 
Your responsibilities will include monitoring patients, administering medications, coordinating care plans, and providing support to families/carers overnight during different crisis situations  ie, blocked catheters and palliative care support.  
This is a fast paced role requiring safe and effective clinical decision making, so you must be able to think on your feet, problem solve issues that arise overnight and juggle conflicting priorities. You must be able to motivate others in challenging times and utilise the resources available to you effectively.
