The service which is in its early stages of mobilisation will include an OPD outreach service to men within HMP High Down and a specialist residential Psychologically Informed Planned Environment (PIPE) unit for men with learning disabilities. The services form part of the national Men's OPD pathway and will be a national first.</p> <p>You will be joining a new staff team that will include psychologists, occupational therapy, a Speech &amp; Language therapist, prison officers and an Advanced Lived Experience Practitioner. We are seeking a compassionate &amp; enthusiastic practitioner who enjoys working as part of a team and assisting service users reach their full potential.</p> <p>This is a London Pathways Partnership (LPP) service, with CNWL as the lead provider. LPP is a consortium of 5 NHS Trusts working in partnership to deliver a network of services to complex and high-risk service users in London &amp; the Southeast. LPP deliver integrated services, primarily within the OPD pathway across London community &amp; within several local prisons, thus ensuring a supported prison to community pathway. We actively support research and have close relationships with academics from several local universities</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>To identify people (through screening or assessment) with Neurodevelopmental Disorders, including Autism, Attention deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities</p>
<p>To work as an independent neurodiversity practitioner with men with personality disorder and learning disability residing on the PIPE and with men in prison presenting with complex &amp; challenging needs as part of the outreach service.</p>
<p>To co-facilitate adapted group and individual psychosocial interventions for men whose communication, thinking style and coping strategies are impacted upon by the presence of a Neurodevelopmental Disorder.</p>
<p>To provide expert neurodiversity knowledge, support &amp; training to support the team and wider establishment provide a neurodiverse aware environment.</p>
<p>To support the men on the PIPE access services in the prison.</p>

Supporting the Clinical Team Manager and leadership team, the post holder will actively participate in the day to day clinical and operational management of the Adult Eating Disorders Team within the locality, be part of a multi-disciplinary team and contribute to the development of the services they support. They will demonstrate safe clinical decision-making, and sound clinical expertise and knowledge of eating disorders and their treatments. The post holder will support the leadership team to meet the needs of the service users and contribute to service improvements and supervision of other members of the team.</p>

You will work as part of committed and creative team, which offers innovative, holistic and person-aligned care and support to people with palliative and end life care needs, and to their families and care givers.</p><p>The post is part of the Patient and Family Counselling team, which contributes to the provision of palliative and end of life care services. The post holder will work across inpatient, day care and community services providing psychological support services to people with complex emotional needs; in the context of being a patient with a terminal illness, a relative/carer for the patient or as a family member.</p><p>The post holder will be expected to work in a flexible way, adapting the service provided to meet the differing and changing needs of service users from a wide range of social and cultural backgrounds.   <p>This post provides a fantastic opportunity to lead the integrated schools pathway in Luton, forming innovative and forward-looking services that are developing substantially across Bedfordshire and Luton CAMHS. In Luton this includes an established CAMH School Liaison Team, our Wave 2, 5 and 9 Mental Health Support Teams (MHST), and our upcoming Wave 14 Team in January 2026. Mental Health Support Teams are part of an exciting project funded by NHS England, Health Education England and partners with the aim of improving the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people in the community in response to the government's Green Paper for Young People's Mental Health. Bedfordshire &amp; Luton CAMHS have been successful in benefitting from significant investment in this area. </p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The post holder will be the Integrated Lead for the schools pathway teams across the Luton locality as we move towards an integrated schools offer in the coming year, and they will work with team operational leads and with the overall strategic Clinical Lead for CAMH Access Services to offer a comprehensive first step in mental health support, accessible and acceptable for all communities living in Luton, following the Thrive model. The post holder will lead the development of a wide range of targeted interventions, projects and system change with the aim of delivering whole school and community approaches to supporting young people's mental health. We aim to develop an integrated neighbourhood-based core offer to all schools across the locality, and an enhanced offer where there is greater need (such as in communities with greater health inequalities) over the next two years. </p>

As a first step, CAMH Access Services offer (Giving Advice and Early Getting Help) services through all schools in Luton, with the Primary Care Access Service (or, PCAS) offering services through all GP practices. We also have a clinician embedded within Early Help Services, all forming a strong early intervention and community based service in communities. As a second step, we have our multi-disciplinary teams offering Later Getting Help and Risk Management support, and as a third step we have a local Inpatient Unit for young people, along with an admission avoidance pathway. </p>
