  <p>We are excited to be recruiting a<strong>Band 6 Senior Mental Health Practitioners</strong> to join our Exeter and East Devon Mood, Emotions, and Relationships Pathway within Children and Family Health Devon .   <p>Would you like to work in a friendly and supportive Maternal Mental Health Service delivering a service across Hull, East Riding, North Lincolnshire and North East Lincolnshire to women experiencing maternal loss?</p>
<p>This is a new service and you will be working alongside other therapists delivering highly skilled psychological interventions at this difficult time in women's/families lives. We are looking to recruit a full time Family Therapist to lead with Systemic interventions.</p>
<p>Do you like the idea of using your skills in a rewarding and fulfilling way to help women at a crucial point in their lives? We know that providing person centred care and intervention can impact significantly on quality of life for women as well as that of their families and this post will add to our current well recruited CBT offer.</p>
<p>The successful candidate will be expected to deliver family based interventions across all 4 patches that we cover and also work alongside our CBT Therapists developing and delivering systemic psychological interventions within the Maternal Mental Health Service.</p>

  <p>This is an exciting opportunity for a Psychological Therapist or Counsellor to join NHS Somerset Talking Therapies Service for Depression and Anxiety, working within either our South Somerset Team (Yeovil/Chard) or our Taunton Team.</p><p>NHS Somerset Talking Therapies is a high-performing service with one of the best recovery rates in the country. We have excellent links with the voluntary sector and secondary care through the Open Mental Health Somerset initiative. As part of our multi-professional workforce in primary care, you will support adults experiencing depression, anxiety and long-term health conditions, offering therapy both face-to-face and via video link. Flexible working opportunities are available.</p><p>Applicants who do not yet hold a Talking Therapies-compliant qualification in Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) or Person Centre Experiential Counselling for Depression (PCE CfD) will be considered for a Band 6 recruit-to-train position, with full training provided.</p>

<p>Post holders will work in the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Talking Therapies Service and provide high intensity cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) to service users who have a range of complex anxiety and depression related problems. The role will include providing specialist CBT assessment and therapy, offer advice and consultation on clients' psychological care to colleagues, work to NICE recommendations and within British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) professional guidelines.</p>
<p>Post holders will have a Post Graduate Masters level qualification (or be newly qualifying) in Psychological Therapies Practice (High Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) or equivalent, significant experience working as a psychological therapy practitioner and demonstrating the competencies required, BABCP accreditation or eligibility for BABCP accreditation.</p>
  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>

<li>The post holder will provide high intensity interventions primarily cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT).</li>
<li>Contribute to the teaching and training of mental health professionals and other staff working within the service.</li>

You will be joining a vibrant professional group of nine Family and Systemic Psychotherapists who work across a range of outpatient teams.</p><p>Systemic Supervision will be provided and in addition you will be able to join a family therapy clinic, working with another Family and Systemic Psychotherapist.</p><p>The team at The Beacon Unit currently consists of clinicians across a wide range of disciplines: Psychiatry, Psychology, Dietetics, Nursing, Occupational Therapy and Speech and Language Therapy. Systemic Psychotherapy has been a valued and integral part of the team for many years. </p>

    <p>We are looking for casual members of staff to work shifts as and when required by the service. More information on hours will be given at the interview. Commitment to work flexible and unsocial hours including evenings, weekends, bank holidays and sleep ins (as required), is essential.

About the Role

Chy is a residential rehabilitation unit in Truro, providing drug, alcohol and mental health treatment services to some of the most vulnerable and disadvantaged people in society. We have an 18-bed main property and a further 8 beds in a block of flats on the grounds that are used as 'move on' accommodation for those with more specific therapeutic needs. Chy welcomes people from all over the UK who wish to heal, grow and make changes to their lives. Many of the people who come to us have experienced multiple traumas and are living with acute mental health support needs. This is an exciting time to join the team following a year of developments and improvements to the services offered.

We are looking for someone who has experience of working or volunteering with substance misuse clients ideally in a residential setting.
