			<p>As part of Place2Be’s long-standing collaboration with the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) and University College London (UCL), we have been supporting the development and evaluation of ‘Learning Together’, a series of programmes designed to reduce bullying and increase a sense of safety and belonging at school for children and young people. Learning Together has also been found to have a positive impact on students’ mental health and academic attainment (initial findings&nbsp;published in the Lancet can be found&nbsp;<strong><a href="https://www.thelancet.com/journals/lancet/article/PIIS0140-6736(18)31782-3/fulltext" target="_blank">here).</a>&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></p>

<p>The Learning Together for Mental Health (LTMH) programme has been developed with a stronger focus on students’ mental health. LTMH includes training in restorative practice for school staff, a student needs assessment and facilitated Action Groups, in which staff and students come together to plan school activities or policy changes to address the mental health and wellbeing needs of the students. In a recent pilot study, LTMH was found to have good feasibility in participating schools. We are now very excited to be able to give secondary schools across the country the opportunity to trial LTMH in their school and to support the evaluation of this innovative programme.&nbsp;</p>
<p>We’re therefore looking to recruit someone to manage the delivery and evaluation of the Learning Together for Mental Health programme across approximately 140 secondary schools in England.&nbsp;The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operational management of the project, initially working closely with the Research School Engagement Officer to recruit and onboard schools and then with a team of Place2Be Facilitators to ensure the smooth delivery of LTMH in participating schools. The Research Trial Manager will also work collaboratively with the external evaluation team to support research activity in these schools.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Join the team at Farmfield Hospital in Charlwood, Surrey as a 0.6FTE&nbsp;Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist.&nbsp;</p>
<p>You will be providing strategic leadership and expert psychiatric leadership and clinical oversight within forensic mental health services, acting as Responsible Clinician under the Mental Health Act and delivering high-quality, recovery-focused care to individuals involved with the criminal justice system.</p>
<p>As a Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist, you will take on RC responsibility for male service users on our medium secure wards. The RC will have the support of a non-consultant grade doctor as well as secretarial support.</p>
<p><strong>Where you will be working:</strong></p>
<p>Farmfield Hospital is a 64-bed secure unit with both MSU and LSU wards for male patients. The hospital is purpose built and run by the highly experienced Elysium Healthcare group. Through our professional development programme, we are training around 1,200 Counsellors on Placement each year who build their mental health and counselling skills and experience through practice in our partner schools.   <p>The position will involve working with in-patients and Specialist and Trauma teams and would suit someone who likes a very varied day, who likes working in a multi-disciplinary team setting and who wants to increase their knowledge of the specialist services offered within the NHS and the life changing effects specialist teams can offer.   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>Involves establishing good working relationships with the specialist teams in the hospital and working with the teams to identify what the Senior Psychological Therapist can offer. Any day might involve liaising with the various specialist teams to see what psychological support is needed for the patient pathway. Also involves liaising with external services to ensure a smooth pathway for the patient whose needs are complex. Involves offering staff training, supervision and support to increase their capacity to understand the psychological impact and pressures of trauma on the individual (patient or staff member). Supporting individual members of staff to increase their awareness of psychological approaches or mental health approaches. It may involve supervising trainees from the University of Surrey who send trainees to us for their Specialist third year placements. It can involve joining various departments who offer training for the broader hospital setting on the psychological impact of various health issues. It can involve looking at opportunities for research within the departments (Sleep, Burns, Speech and Language), or if you have an interest yourself you would be supported to explore a personal development in that area.</p>

We are looking for someone like you to join our CAMHS Complex Needs team! Do you have what it takes? </p>   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The post holders will be part of a multidisciplinary team offering goal-based and outcome focused episodes of care to young people, children and families presenting with various severe and complex mental health difficulties. The post will give the successful candidates a unique perspective and ability to work collaboratively with other clinical pathways in TH CAMHS, trialing and innovating new methods of responding to young people with severe and enduring mental health difficulties with underlying vulnerabilities and/or contextual adversity and accompanied high risk requiring more than routine care over a longer period of time.</p> <p>We are looking for good communicators who are motivated, enthusiastic, skilled and have the ability to work with complex cases and can work effectively within multi-disciplinary and multi-agency contexts and deliver treatment tailored to CYP needs.   <p>In conjunction with partners in commissioning, health, social care, and education, we are delivering an outcome-based service where all provider agencies will work together to provide the highest quality service to our clients. </p> <p>As a service we embrace continual improvement with staff and the management team having a high degree of enthusiasm for quality improvement. Our generic Emotional and Behavioral pathways assess and provide a variety of evidence-based treatments and intervention of children, young people, and their families in this busy East London CAMHS service. The successful candidates will offer as part of the new development of our complex needs team an accessible, flexible, timely and responsive CAMHS service. The service offer comprises a comprehensive needs assessment, including a risk assessment which will inform holistic care plans, in joint collaborative with other agencies. </p> <p>Our Ethos is to provide the right treatment, at the right time and in the right place for the CYP of Tower Hamlets.</p>
